Utopia: an imagined place or state of things in which everything is perfect. In this case, it's not imagined! Your next beach vacation will be perfect in this 4 bedroom, 3 bath home located in Surfside Beach. Pack your beach bag and head down to the sandy shores of Surfside – only 2 blocks away! Spend your days having fun in the sun, sand, and surf! Whether you're searching for souvenir seashells or surfing the waves, it'll be a fun vacation for everyone! After fun-filled days on the beach, head back to Utopia. There you can rinse the sand off in the enclosed outside shower and take a swim in the private pool (approximately 12ft x 25ft).

Enjoy plenty of local restaurants and activities within a short drive. If you prefer to stay in, prepping a meal is a breeze with the convenience of a fully equipped kitchen or you can BBQ outdoors with the use of both propane and charcoal grills. Unwind watching TV or relaxing on the porch. Stay connected with complimentary Wi-Fi. Make time to rest and recharge after your day of fun! Good overall

There were some things that were not working properly and some things that need updating but we made do with what we needed to. The bedrooms were great size and everything was accurate on the website. Overall a good experience.

Great location!

Less than 5 minutes walk to the beach. Great location for food, activities, entertainment. The house was gorgeous, clean, up to date. Pool was amazing, as well! Tremendously enjoyed our stay.

Nice property. Property owner just showed up spontaneously after 10:00pm and next day before 8:00am.

The house is nice and Dunes Realty is also a great company to do business with. The location is nice as well. The only thing we all disliked is the owner showing up late at night after 10:00pm out of nowhere walking around outside opening and shutting doors and slamming a utility closet door waking my 1 year old daughter up which was frustrating. Apparently a group before us messed his yard up by driving on it so he needed to replace the sod and lay down timbers alongside the driveway which he did a little after 7:00am waking half of the house up. The pool pump needs to be replaced as it smells like something is burning or about to blow up. The pool guy also complained about the pump saying it needs to be replaced. Overall the stay was good until the owner showed up late at night then early in the morning. Actually would have e been perfect if that didn’t happen. Probably won’t be getting this house again but would love to do business with Dunes Realty in the future.

Overall we were pleased with this home. The kitchen appliances and floors could use a good a deep cleaning or replacement and overall the property needs some general maintenance. But it is a great location and we enjoyed our stay.

Almost a 5 star

I would love to give this house a 5 star rating... it was cute, only a short walk to the beach and perfect for my family. Unfortunately issues with the property owner (not Dunes Reality) impacted our stay. There are security cameras outside of the home both in the front and back. And while I can understand the need for one in the front I was not comfortable with having my family recorded as we spent time in the pool and backyard area, so we unplugged it. Also, the WiFi continuously was turned on and off. My biggest concern though was that the thermostat was locked and so we could not control the temperature of the house. It made the house hot and uncomfortable to be in, especially for our one-year-old to nap in. (At one point her room was at 78). We contacted Dunes twice who had to contact the owner several times before he agreed to turn the house down. Had we not experienced poor service from the owner, I would have definitely returned to the house next year. I do recommend bringing your own towels, linens, and comforters as the ones provided are motel grade.
