We have been renting in MB for 10 years and have NEVER experienced anything like this before! Had no idea where to pick up keys so drove to Elevate Cleans after 10 and receptionist was in parking lot. She told me to come into office and give her my number to call me in case housekeeping was done early. My son was renting unit upstairs & was able to get in early so we stayed with him (which by the way had a different owner - it was beautiful and very clean and up to date). He told me he saw housekeeping leave when he got a text he could get in. Long story short - it was after 2:30 so I call Elevate again. she called housekeeping and they said they were going at 3. How can you clean whole condo in 1 hour? Housekeeping never showed because we were in my sons unit. Went to get keys after 4 and just as we opened condo door receptionist called and me and asked if everything was ok which was strange. We looked around and told her "NO" the only thing done was clean towels on beds & sheets changed. Place was dirty (took lots of pictures of all) - floors dirty, sand from months under couch and chairs, butter & toast crumbs on counter, broken drawer in bedroom (that someone from past reviews complained about in 2018), dirty laundry room, old bent pots and pans, cabinet drawers dirty inside...I could go on and on. She told me manager was on the way - but 4 hours later no manager - we ran sweeper and cleaned counters. Then I get email from iTrip stating housekeeping was there at 3 and we were in condo and would not leave so they couldn't clean asking how we got in! Are you kidding me??? We picked up keys at office after 4 and we were in my son's unit the whole time. If we were in there - simple - why did housekeeping not call them right then and there and put me on the phone asking how we got it? It's because we were NOT there! We were appalled & angry that iTrip would even believe such a lie! Obviously housekeeping was there a lot earlier when my son saw them leave and lied about the whole thing. We paid a lot to stay there & were appalled by treatment and condition of condo. When I got home I read previous recent reviews only to find out -- more complaints about it being dirty, lots of sand under furniture, washer & dryer terrible, same broken drawer in 2018, not enough towels, old dented pots & pans and on and on. I am sad & upset that we were treated this way. The owner of this condo is definitely not getting their money's worth for cleaning. I have always been told the customer is always right. All it would have taken is one phone call to us & one visit from manager - both of which never happened. I will never go through iTrip again. Funny how many previous reviews reflected the same complaints. It was all ridiculous. We took pictures of it all and also pictures of how clean WE left the condo). We have gotten thank yous from the owners of every house & condo we have stayed for leaving the places so clean. The only thing that saved us was having the oceanfront view, the great deck and the beach.
