The hotel is on the second floor with no accessible elevators. Bringing luggage up to the second floor required lots of walking for us and hotel staff. The taxi driver did not know where to enter the hotel. The name was on the building, but no driveway. He spent extra 30 minutes going around the block.

Loved the location to shopping and train station. The bathroom was a modular and you had to step up into the bathroom which was the one thing I disliked about my room. Otherwise I was extremely satisfied.

Great hotel and staff with an awesome breakfast served at a neighboring Japanese restaurant, the food was very good. Hotel is in a great location near to the train station and close to the bus and streetcar stops. It’s convenient location makes walking to many sites and shopping easy and enjoyable.

It’s a nice hotel link to the hotel, train and bus terminal. Nice to walk around the city, a travel guide helps too. It’s calm, straight hotel for rest and relax for theee days. Tourists should stay and enjoy a calm stay here, keep it up.

The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and even gave us some advice on avoiding the check in craziness at 3pm! The location is super handy foe both train and bus options. Highly recommend and will ayay again when i return!

In spite of the construction all around the hotel, our brief stay was wonderful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The construction noise did not bother us at all. The staff were professional and showed us the shorter way to the train station thru the construction. The location was great, minutes walk to the Nagasaki train station. I could not figure out how to make coffee but the amenities were good.

Very mixed on our review for this hotel. It was one of the more expensive per night yet the hotel is very outdated and needs an upgrade. I would have been ok with this, however there is massive construction around the hotel which makes it’s hard to find, not easy to navigate and also wasn’t mentioned. For the price I would expect better however hotel was clean and staff kind. I hope the give this a facelift with all the work in the neighbourhood and also location.

We have stayed in three different JR hotels this trip, the JR Hotel Clement in Takamatsu, the JR Kyushu Hotel in Kagoshima and this JR Kyushu Hotel in Nagasaki. All have been excellent, including perfectly quiet rooms. This JR Kyushu Hotel Nagasaki has the convenience of a coin laundry and a microwave in a common area. There is no restaurant in this hotel, but several restaurants are in an adjacent building which can be accessed directly from the hotel. We originally planned to stay only two nights in Nagasaki, but one family member had a brief illness, so we stayed an extra night in Nagasaki and cancelled our planned one night at the JR Kyushu Hotel in Hakata, Fukuoka. The Expedia cancellation on the Hakata stay worked perfectly, done one day prior to our planned arrival at Hakata, and the refund was made to our credit card very promptly.

Quite an old hotel in need of a revamp. As of November 2022, the train station area of Nagasaki is undergoing a complete facelift. I would hope that the hotel follows suit at some point.

とにかく便利なところにあるホテル。絶景ではないが、ちょうど新幹線延伸のための駅前再開発をしており、変わりゆく街並みを眺められて良かった。部屋は綺麗で、アメニティも必要最小限は揃っていて特に不満はない。ただし大浴場はないので、大きな湯船でくつろぎたい場合は他のホテルが選択肢になる。

During my stay for 20 days Nagasaki station next to the hotel has been rebuilding everyday. I felt earthquake everyday. I called front desk but staffs said sorry only without no notice or letter for apology.

Fantastic Location
The location was ideal for my stay. Despite being near the main rail line, the soundproofing meant that you couldn't hear a single train. My double room was on the 10th floor and was large and comfortable.
