"An oasis in center of crowded, noisy Jaipur. Comfortable room, good food. This is a small hotel and Staff made us feel we were a “community” rather than strangers"
"We had a fantastic stay at the Padmaa Haveli. It’s a gorgeous historic building owned by the same family for centuries and now converted into a beautiful boutique hotel balancing its history with contemporary interior style. The service was incredible - all the staff were amazing and always on hand to help with anything we needed.

"It’s a lovely palace but the bathroom toilet was not working properly. The first night we woke up to a pool of cold water. The hot water was minimal. You had to rush showering before the water went on the colder side. The bathroom was not well kept. We had requested a heater as the room was very cold. The area the hotel is in is dreadful. "

"The hotel was really nice and the room was spacious they also have a picturesque terrace restaurant were you can enjoy your candlelight dinner. At first I was kinda skeptical about the property but it exceeded my expectations. Would definitely recommend it."
"I have Booked the deluxe suite for our parents. They liked everything about it. The traditional decor, their food and their service was very nice. We have requested for a ground floor room and they happily provided it. Overall they had a great time.
Thank you. "

The location is brilliant - it’s set right in the centre of the city within striking distance of all the major tourist attractions. The area is a historic and densely populated part of Jaipur a diverse areas including traditional residential properties, markets, and historical sites. While the area immediately around the hotel may face challenges associated with informality or poverty, I strongly disagree to the statement I read in a customer review somewhere that this hotel was in the middle of a slum. That is unfair and untrue - the area felt safe and is reflected of the city and country, one of the fastest growing economies in the world - full of extremes. If you’re uncomfortable with that maybe look at yourself and why you’re uncomfortable with this rather than unfairly catorgorising a neighbourhood and the people who live and work there.
The hotel at the time we stayed was still relatively new and had a few teething issues which they welcomed feedback on to improve. They are keen to make the best of this place so I’m sure once they into the stride will grow from strength to strength.
Thanks for a wonderful and memorable stay.

"Beautiful hotel! It’s a well maintained property with a beautiful swimming pool area. Food options are great as well. Room size is small but very tastefully decorated and clean. Staff is also very professional and polite. Had a great stay!"
"Alsisar Haveli beautiful, elegant and impeccably maintained, with daily cleaning throughout. Restaurant was wonderful with a good mix of food choices.
Rooms are spacious blending historical character with modern comforts. The courtyard area was calming and unique. The pool was a delightful. While not right in the city center, it is about 15 mins to Jaipur’s historic core. "
"A beautiful peaceful accommodation in the heart of the city, the family live in the property and take care of you as a member of the family, it is very clean and taken care of well, the court yard is beautiful and the WiFi is very good. Overall a wonderful stay."
"We wanted to experience staying at a real Rajasthani haveli and Khatu Haveli worked pretty well for us. It is a old haveli built in 1860s, has multiple courtyards, very quiet despite the usual street noise outside the compound. The room comfort was good: very clean, with AC, free water bottle per day, kettle, shower with good hot water. The TV in the room has some English channels: 1 movie channel, 2 nature doc channels, and apparently some news channels (which we didn't watch). The food options are good: breakfasts were included and had several continental choices (eggs of any kind, toasted bread, butter/jam, juice) and a few Indian dishes; the menu for the latter changes daily. Buffet dinners are available at 8pm for an extra fee, and include: rice, lentils plus 3 Indian dishes (which also change daily). You would have to sign up for a buffet dinner ~3 hours in advance to give the staff the time to cook. Some dishes were excellent, others a tiny bit greasy but still quite tasty. There are about 4-5 staff working in the haveli, all very professional. The owner lady lives there and visits the dining area during breakfasts and dinners so you might have some interesting conversations. Apparently this haveli has been in the family for 6 generations. The neighborhood is OK. It's an easy 5-7 min walk to the Pink City street with its colorful bazaar shops; and then about 30 min walk to places like Hawa Mahal (you will need to brave crazy traffic at street crossings a few times)."
