"Comfortable beds. Spacious enough for four people. Outside stairs only to second floor.
Buildings are centrally located with a several different food options in the lodge, and there is a grocery store with a deli nearby. This place is much smaller in scope and less crowded than the historic village.
Loved the availability of the busses to go anywhere you wanted to go. Definitely worth staying in the park. "
"Beds were awful… rooms need renovation
Restaurant was awesome and service was excellent… historic place and Hopi House gift shop a must. Nothing beats staying in the park at the south rim!!!"
"Was staying one night so when we got there they explained we were going to be put into the “extended” building where it is nice for couples because it is all adults. We were put there because it was their oldest building. If you are going to stay at this hotel do not stay in room 405 unless you wake up very early and you are a smoker. In addition to the rooms just being old, the bathroom smelled like someone was sitting in there smoking the whole time we were there. Another thing they should tell you about this room is that you share a wall with the the area where they set up breakfast so be ready to get a wake up call around 5:00 for breakfast set up. Not sure if all of their rooms/buildings are the same way but this was easily the worst hotel stay we have ever had. We did complete their room review but haven’t heard anything. "
