I traveled with my husband and our 5-month-old baby, and also encouraged my parents to stay at the same property based on its reputation. Unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing and unacceptable for a family traveling with an infant.
Here’s what went wrong:
• The first room we were assigned had a door that wouldn’t open.
• The second room had a strong mildew odor, which made it unsafe for our baby.
• We finally settled into a third room, but during our stay we saw cockroaches multiple times — I have photos and videos documenting this.
• The AC unit smelled strongly of mold, making the room uncomfortable and raising health concerns.
• There was loud construction all day, including constant drilling noise that frightened our baby and made it impossible to relax by the pool or enjoy the amenities.
• The beach chairs were filthy, and one of them even broke while we were on the beach, which was not only disappointing but also dangerous.
• The staff at the entrances consistently failed to greet or acknowledge us, making the atmosphere feel cold and unwelcoming.
This was meant to be a restful vacation, but instead it caused us unnecessary stress and discomfort.
