We enjoy the laidback, quiet resort feel. Away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. The grounds are full of beautiful vegetation. The lagoon is beautiful to look out over. It’s also wonderful to sit in the lagoon during high tide. Building 7 is our favourite as it has been recently updated. Air conditioning rocks. Decor is lovely. Room is spacious and clean. Staff is lovely at the resort. Da Conch Shack was a fantastic place to enjoy a cold beer and light snack. Bass was the best! He made you feel welcomed and made sure you enjoyed your time at Da Conch Shack. More places need employees like Bass. Restaurants around the resort were quick and easy to walk to. Plus there is a convenience store to grab sunscreen, breakfast, beer and snacks. A grocery store is a 10 minute walk too. Pool is clean and enjoyable. The beach is a five minute walk too. We love Sandyport and will be again.

For a last minute reservation my sister and I were happy to be able to book it BUT, the bathroom is SUPER tiny. Like barely able to turn around in. I've never been in a bathroom that small. Pool is nice and relaxing and quiet. Breakfast was slow but REALLY good.

The staff was super friendly. The hotel room was great. I had a one bedroom with a great king bed. One person slept on the couch. The couch itself was fine for one person, but when you pulled it out - the bed was not comfortable. The access walk out to the lagoon beach was amazing. So many good things! But mostly the staff and beautiful environs were stellar. From check in to check out we were happy. The beach is gorgeous and felt pretty private. We enjoyed sitting at the conch shack drinking local beer and delicious margaritas made by Basco the bartender who was as the best! Do not miss the conch fritters at the conch shack. They were unforgettable. We liked the Poop Deck restaurant which despite the name, was delicious. Also don’t miss Bon Vivant for coffee AB’s breakfast sweets. Daily room cleanings were excellent and the room itself was great. This is not a “White Lotus” pretentious resort thankfully. It is a down to earth comfortable and beautiful place to stay in our case for a mother and teenaged son but really could work for anyone except perhaps spring breakers wanting a party 😊

The staff is amazing, extremely helpful - be sure to see Lady Sarah for all your tour adventures right there in the resort lobby - and just downright amazing. Our stay at SandyPort Beach Resort was relaxing and delightful. The property is very conveniently located in a compound that has multiple meal and restaurant options including a super cute coffee shop that is a great cocktail lounge in the evenings. There are multiple water options within walking distance from the hotel—a beach, a lagoon, and a pool area that even has a two slides. The resort has a comfortable homey vibe that feels relaxing and safe. Oh and the chicken wings by the pool side restaurant are delicious! We had an issue with our door lock while we were there and they immediately sent a repairman to fix it within minutes. The room was simple but beautiful. You can tell it is a little worn with age but they have done a nice facelift in the rooms. All in all I would certainly return.
