A little piece of Paradise
Waterfront Haven is literally that. Tiffany greeted us with a smile and true island hospitality! Several days we opted to stay at the house rather than explore or head to the beach. It was a perfect spot for peace and tranquility. The lower seawall was an unexpected treasure - there is a ladder to go into the ocean (water shoes are a must but there are lots already at the property) and at high tide we sat down and let the ocean come to us. The warm ocean waves splashing against us were refreshing, relaxing and fun! When the water was still, it was like we were at an aquarium - graceful and beautiful stingrays, multi-coloured fish, a pufferfish, starfish and even a turtle swam by! The accommodations were fabulous and so many bathrooms! We felt secure and private the entire time we were there. If you need a driver, Captain Kirk is your guy, we can't say enough about him and his kindness! We hope to come back soon!

A great place for a family holiday
This was a wonderful holiday home. We had a large family group of eight and were very comfortable. We loved the direct ocean access - a little drive from some parts of the island but at the same time not touristy. The house was well stocked with everything we needed including baby things )high chair, crib etc) we felt it was a safe location and we’re glad to see the security precautions available. Highly recommend this spot!

Came with family for 7 fun filled days to celebrate my husband 60th birthday, what a blast…Tiffany was excellent and the home was very nice and comfortable with gorgeous views. Our entire stay was the week of a full moon, break taking on the water. If you get a chance right down the road is The Pink Octopus Restaurant which is great.. We didn’t snorkel due to construction in the rear of home but we did get a chance to fish (for fun) from rear patio area which was fun. The pool was enjoyable but small. Definitely coming back

We loved our stay with here. As a family of 4 with two small children we enjoyed the large space kitchen (by the way 😉 please check the cabinets before you go grocery shopping). The living room & dinning space is so spacious. We loved waking up looking upon the ocean 🌊 it's truly an haven on the ocean/beach. We took a short 7-8 minute walk to the beach ⛱️ ( there are some stray dogs 🐕 but we made it safely with no issues). Tiffany was always a call a way if we ever needed any assistance. We used Kirk to drive us around & he showed us all the great spots on the island. We can't stop telling our family and friends about our trip. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this home for your vacation spot in the near future. You will be safe and sound in this gated community

This was a family Oasis!
My family absolutely loved this property. It was exactly as described and the host was responsive. The only drawbacks was the lack of AAA batteries for remotes and the blind spots near the driveway for saftey purposes. I suggest a mirror near the gate on the left sode of the house. Besides that, everything was perfect. Thank you for having us!

Family trip 2023
We were looking for a more economical way to visit the Bahamas and boy did we hit the lottery with this beautiful home. Communication with the owner was effortless. Tiffany was there to greet us upon arrival and made sure to make us feel right at home. The property is roomy and clean. The views from the home are breathtaking! We spent a few memorable nights at the house playing cards, swimming in the pool, watching the tide and dipping our feet in the ocean. During the afternoons, we snorkeled right out back, (water shoes are a must)! The ability to grill and cook some meals at the house was perfect for our group of 9. The house is a bit far from the touristy areas so we hired a driver to help us navigate the island. Without him and his wife, we would've been lost! We hope to have the ability to come back and enjoy beautiful Bahamas again soon!

If I could give six or seven stars, these are the categories that are deserving: Fifteen stars: Communications with host Eight stars: Location Eight stars: Everything as promised and exceeded expectations The rest definitely deserved 5 star ratings. Tiffany was the most accommodating host. She gave us preferential treatment (she may hate I say this because everyone may expect it). Her communication was timely, and she actually meets you at the property to ensure it meets expectations. There are no restaurants nearby, but No worries the kitchen is well stocked and drive to downtown Nassau is less than 20 minutes. Grocery store is 3 minutes drive. Snorkeling and fishing right off your private sea wall is awesome!! I will stay here again.

Oceanside retreat
Amazing, clean property with lots of room to spread out and enjoy! We travelled as a family with a group of 7 and had more than enough beds and bathrooms to accommodate our stay. The ocean view was amazing, a little tough to get in and out of the ocean due to the surf and tides and the lower ledge being a little slick from algae. The pool was great and well utilized during our stay. The house is about 15 minutes from the cruise ship area and shops but a very easy drive! Thank you, Tiffany, for your hospitality!!

The only disappointment was the ability to get in the surf. Even on the calmest day, it was impossible to get in and even more difficult to get out. I really thought I wasn’t going to have to move because I was going to have the best of both worlds; the beach/ocean and pool, and we had to travel to get to a beach. I didn’t use the pool much because the filtration was questionable. The house was plenty big to accommodate our group, the hosts were very nice and accommodating, and the very best feature was the recommendation to use Kirk Benaby for our driver, tour, guide, personal assistant.

This trip was our annual girls trip. We were 5 women all 56 and older. The house was beautiful, comfortable and listed as advertised. The view is absolutely stunning. The place was just as pictured and fabulous! Tiffany and Ivan are so nice, helpful, and responded very quickly to all questions. There was no umbrella for the table on the deck and she went out and got us one the next day, she also brought us flower vases from her own home when I told her we had bought flowers at the store.

This home was the perfect getaway location for peace, quiet and beauty.
This rental location was more beautiful than imagined. The house had so much space to spread out and felt totally private. We watched sunrise from our bedroom balcony every morning and saw many species of fish and critters in the lovely reefs in front on the house. The lounger chairs and pool had us spending many afternoons of relaxing without venturing out. When we did seek adventures, the drive was a 15-20 minute straight shot back to downtown with lovely views along the way. We did find that most things closed by 5 or 6 each evening after the cruisesships left so plan eating accordingly. Groceries were 2-3 times the cost in the states, but the ability to eat some meals from home was still more convenient and cost effective. Tiffany was very responsive and helpful with our questions before and during our trip and accommodating to meeting us for arrival/ leaving times to swap keys. Overall, this was the perfect location to call home for a week while enjoy the Bahamas.

Great Stay at Home Away
We had an excellent stay at Homeaway in the Bahamas! Tiffany and Ivan were wonderful and attentive. The location was amazing. We snorkeled and swam in the ocean right out our back door. There was plenty of space to spread out. And we were in close proximity to Paradise Island and all the beaches in between. I highly recommend staying in this beautiful home!!!

Terrific vacation home for families
This property is terrific for families accommodations are wonderful and the host is wonderful. It is away from the downtown area which makes it peaceful. But be prepared to drive anywhere, groceries or restaurants are not walkable. They have terrific security features, security alarm and gate. It has beautiful view of the water. Snorkel right off the back patio was excellent. You will not find a nicer stay for families, especially large families.

The Most Amazing Gem in Nassau
We had an absolutely amazing time at this property! My husband and I stayed here before and a little after our marriage and it was truly a phenomenal place to have those expert! The home is right on the water and has quite literally anything you need! From fishing rods to snorkeling gear and even sea shoes… this home had it all! The home is so big and spacious and was perfect for me and my bridal party to get ready on my wedding day. There was more than enough space for everyone and we just loved the convenience of just going outside randomly to jump in the sea water!! We jumped in it like it was a pool haha! Tiffany was always readily answering us with our questions and concerns and was a great host. Thank you so much for being a big part of our special day!

This was a perfect spring break for us and our oldest daughter’s friends. It was a make up senior spring break that was canceled due to Covid. Away from any crowds of people. So beautiful and fun. We had more fun outside on the ledge by the water than anywhere we visited on the island. We would love to come back!

This home was very spacious. We traveled with 6 in our party for 10 days. My 2 adult children, one girlfriend of the adult child, my spouse and I, and my 12 year old daughter . Everyone had their own space, and practically own bathroom. The home has a goodie room, filled with snorkel gear, water shoes, & other various left overs. This was awesome because finding water accessories on this island was beyond difficult! The home is right on the water. It’s not beach access but water access. There is a beach (not an actual beach name- just a beach) that you can walk to, drive to, or walk in the water to. We walked over to it in the water a few times. A lot of locals use this beach. We liked the home because it was very spacious, in a very nice neighborhood, and was on the ocean. We used the outside patio daily. We swam in the ocean outside the home daily. (Bring water shoes, it’s on a reef). We snorkeled, saw a little sea life here and there, but nothing frequently. Lots of small starfish are abundant. We saw 2 octopus one day, one -2 stingray and some small fish here and there. The fish market is at montague bay up the road about 10 minutes (all the locals say just around the turn/corner.. which was more like 10 corners). The first time there which was the end of the day, I got all those for $120…. One full lobster, one full lobster tail, snapper, and a full crab. The 2nd time was more pricey for what we got compared the first trip; grouper $75. The home has a charcoal grill. It worked well. The Alcohol is not sold in the grocery stores, got to get this elsewhere and beach items for the most part are not there. This was our first trip to Nassau and the Bahamas period. We in general we’re not fans of the island as it’s very busy and commercialized ( we are used to Turks and Caicos). We rented jet ski’s that local passing by in the water offered to us. We also took a boat excursion to rose island. Footprints in the sand bar on rose island was the bomb!!! We hired a chef Perry sweeting to cook for us which was phenomenal and reasonably priced. We mingled with the neighbors that resided as guests next door. We went to the casino at baha mar. Everyone recommends the fish fry for dinner, not reallly my forte but the kids liked it. I loved the Poop deck restaurant. I couldn’t imagine paying more to stay at a resort and to be “masked”. This home was wonderful aside from the pool being very very small. I would stay here again if I came back to Nassau

Away from the hustle and bustle
Beautiful large home can accommodate a large group! One thing we look for with group vacations is a big kitchen. They’ve got it! Walking distance to a gorgeous beach and also the grocery store. Be sure to know that many delivery places don’t know how to find you, so keep that in mind if ordering out. We caught some small fish from the patio and did a little snorkeling. Tiffany was a great hostess! One suggestion is this property could use a couple kayaks and maybe a couple of foldable beach chairs.

A great way to see the "real Bahamas"
This property is amazing! Felt very safe, house is gated. All the rooms are air conditioned. We were able to snorkel right off the patio! Was super handy to be able to cook in the kitchen instead of eating out (which is very expensive). New Providence is a very busy island. There is no relaxed island feel, all go go go. This made driving on the left that much more challenging when you add the 250,000 residents. I definitely recommend this property over a hotel. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. WANNA GET AWAY FROM THE CRAZY OF NASSAU$
I have been to Nassau MANY times. Never knew about the secret. Eastern Rd is the hidden jewel of Nassau and Waterhaven is the BEST. The home is on the water. In the morning when the Sun hits the water just right, a blanket of diamonds will appear over the azure water. The house is rambling so you are not on top of each other. The perfect hang out in the kitchen sized kitchen. The pool is perfect. The best part of this property are Tiffany and Ivan. They are at your beckoned call. You will not be dissapointed.

We went to Nassau to celebrate our oldest daughter graduating college and our youngest graduating High school. We had lots of plans for excursions but they fell through when our daughter had an allergic reaction. It was unfortunate but it didn’t ruin our vacation at all. The location of this home was close enough to the Queens Staircase, Montagu Park, Downtown, Paradise Island, and so many more places to tour and visit. This home was so inviting that we literally felt at home as soon as we stepped in it. We were able to swim with stingrays right out back, grill out while our kids swam in the pool, enjoy the night breeze while hanging out, I could go on and on about how much fun we had. The owners were also so helpful and attentive!! We will definitely be going back in the future!

Perfect relaxing vacation
If you and your family want to relax and take it easy in a beautiful setting this is the perfect house. We loved that is was on the water - waking up every morning to the sunrise was one of the highlights. There is a grocery and liquor store a short drive away that we frequented. The house offered each of our teenage children their own rooms. Tiffany was wonderfully communicative and helpful all of the way around. We will definitely be back. This house is not close to restaurants but we enjoyed having groceries and making our own food and supplementing that with a day trip to Nassau to go out to lunch. There was plenty of room inside and outside though we spent most of our time outside on the patio and swimming in the ocean. Thanks for sharing your home!

Just Beautiful!
We came down for our daughter’s senior year spring break. We were a little nervous being in a different country in a private home, but we could not have felt safer. The neighborhood is just beautiful. Groceries were not far away and easy to get. Everything else we needed was right there! My family of six were very pleased with the villa and location. The house is beautiful and the view is incredible. The area was so safe and it was close enough to Atlantis where we visited a few times during our trip. It was 15 min away from the villa. Tiffany and Ivan were there to answer any questions and to give advice on local restaurants, Grocery stores and excursions. They offered fishing poles and snorkeling equipment for us to use and we were able to do all of this right from the villa We all jumped off the deck into the ocean and enjoyed swimming along with finding starfish, shells and sea creatures! We watched the sunrise every morning and we grilled on the patio every night. I will be bringing my entire family along with friends back very soon. Thank you for the most relaxing and enjoyable vacation ever!!

Perfect for us
A family group of seven had a great time. The pictures of house were perfect and we found our time mostly outdoors on the sea wall. What a gorgeous view. We did some snorkeling and swimming and watch a sting ray go by. The drive to the town part of Nassau was no problem. We had rented a car and got used to driving on the left. However, town was crowded and we didn’t know where to park. Once we found a parking garage we were fine. The drive to city was pretty. The house was laid out perfectly for our needs and quite spacious. Pool was good to cool off and to practice snorkeling. Security great. Tiffany was very gracious and hospitable. Very cooperative in working with a chef we hired for a dinner. Quiet, peaceful retreat. A good choice,

We were 12 people ranging from 9yrs to 55yrs. We had a wonderful stay. The house was as described except for the master bedroom. Private bathroom is actually across the hall. There was lots of room, 12 people actually disappeared in to it pretty well. Lots of beach towels and good bathroom towels. There were plenty of comfy beds and and it was very clean. Well equipped kitchen. Good appliances. A bit more cutlery would be good. The access to the ocean was priceless and the pool was a big hit with everybody. We could walk to the store and a beach but renting a car or taxi is necessary to go anywhere else. Tiffany and her father Ivan were great hosts. The power went off one night and they were quick to come and make sure the generator was started. We all had an excellent time in a beautiful spot.

We stayed at this property for a week in November 2019. Overall the house and property were beautiful. We felt safe in both the house and surrounding neighborhood of Yamacraw. The gated driveway keeps everything nice and secure. Tiffany gave us the choice of which living space and bedrooms we would like to stay in, so we chose the side with the large kitchen and living room. More than enough space for 6 adults and two children under 2. Tiffany also supplied us with two pack and plays and a highchair which was very helpful. Backing onto the ocean and watching the sunrise and sunset everyday was a highlight. It is difficult to swim from when not at low tide (unless you are willing to jump right in). The family spent some time snorkeling, we found some starfish, a stingray and a few colorful fish in the coral. The pool is small and was a bit chilly for the little ones but is great for a cool down dip. We used the charcoal BBQ quite a bit. There is a fish market down the road at Montagu beach where we picked up some snapper and lobster for dinner to grill. Location wise, I would recommend renting a car. The grocery stores are close but would be a hike carrying heavy bags back. Getting around the island by car is very easy. We enjoyed day trips to Atlantis and some of the nearby restaurants and beaches (Montagu is nice and quiet). Tiffany and Ivan are both very friendly and attentive hosts. Communication was always fast and any issues we had were dealt with promptly. We were a bit worried at first about paying via paypal, but everything went smoothly and without issue. Overall I would highly recommend the property, especially to families!
