「Good access to the beach. There is security guarding the entrance to the beach. There are a lot of people with children, so adults can't use the pool and jacuzzi to relax. The restaurant is average. I was asked to pay extra for ice. Amenities are poor. Only a small pack of shampoo and a small bar of soap. The staff was kind and the stay was relaxing.」

「I enjoyed my stay. I enjoyed the black sand beaches there. It is the province, so there are some parts not so nice, but Marvin & the staff were excellent hosts. The room was clean, cold AC & comfy. Thanks Marvin!」

「No WiFi. No activities available. Murky pool water. Poorly trained staff - they sit and play with their phones without asking the guests if they would like to order. Tiny menu with no fruit in a country full of fruit. Some lady manager was talking at full volume at 0615 just a few meters from our door. They beach is a mess. 」

「My family loves everything in Crusoe Cabins & the entire Casobe. There's just some minor thing to fix in the cabin where we stayed - the shower door is not closing properly thus water goes out of the shower area making the toilet area always wet & slippery. But overall the stay was great, we'll definitely come back. 」

「Simple place, no frills but for an overnight stay, it's pretty comfortable. Staff was so helpful and attentive too. Best to have a car with enough ground clearance though as road leading up to the resort is rough.」

「Et avstressende sted, selv om vi kom litt nære utbruddet til vulkanen Taal. Vi hadde det fint der. Rommet vårt var nok litt preget av tidens tann, med en støyende mekanisk aircondition, men ellers ok, selv om vi ble litt overrasket over å lese de strenge romreglene med dertil bøter for overtredelser. Matabungkay er et sted der filipinerne selv ferierer, og der likte også vi oss!」

「We went on a family beach trip. The picture is the room on the internet is not the same as the actual room. The room is clean , but it needs a lot of work, our room door has a hole with a masking tape on it. Toilet seat has no cover. No toilet paper in the bathroom. The wall paper in the bathroom is peeling off. Their TV only has a few local channels. No telephone in the room to call the receptionist. The only plus thing is they gave us our extra pillows and towels and the staff are courteous.」

「What I did not like the most was the musty smell of the room. Did not bother to ask for room change as it will take a lot of time. Note that the smell stuck on my shirt after I woke up the next day. Also, the receptionist who took charge of our room assignments did not allow us for the three (3) rooms to be beside each other for the reason that they were not from the same booking. During the day, we learned that the cocoon beside our friend’s was empty. She even was petty to not allow us to...
