Bucharest National Arena Hotels

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Peakture Bucharest. The room was small, but well-equipped. We appreciated the mini-fridge offerings and coffee were included. The location of the hotel is perfect for visiting the older part of town, shopping, and tours. The only drawback was lack of food on-site after the bar closed, but this wasn't a deal-breaker in our minds. There are options not far off a d delivery. "

"We had a generally decent stay, with some definite positives and a few irritations. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded for free, which we appreciated. The location is very convenient and made getting around easy. The shower had good water pressure and didn’t leak. That said, there were some drawbacks. Annoyingly, there was no safe in the room, which felt like an oversight. Worst of all, 3 out of the 4 plug sockets stopped working; we didn’t report this as we didn’t want an electrician coming in while we were out (due to lack of safe!), nor did we want to have to change rooms. Other reviewers mentioned street noise, and they weren’t wrong - even on the 5th floor, we could hear people shouting at night. The air conditioning is confusing to operate, and breakfast wasn’t up to much. Overall, not a bad stay, but there’s room for improvement in a few key areas."

"The room was ok the beds were ok and comfortable. The beds were made but the sheet did not get changed after the first night. The bathroom towels were small they could have provided at least a bath sheet size as an option. No access to kettle or even hot drinks by the hotel. This was very difficult for me as I am used to having hot drinks and it was very cold outside. The shower panels were missing from the shower cubicle. I would have preferred a continental breakfast option with more fruit. There was a 604 bus route which was very helpful, we used to get into old town. Staff were friendly and helpful."

"The apartment was clean and room, with everything you needed. The area was easy to navigate, with the metro station just a few minute walk away, and delicious restaurants, bakeries, and cafes all nearby. I will definitely be staying here next time I visit."
