“The house is wonderful. If you like old houses or antiques you will love this. It is small, so I would not recommend it for more than a couple. We stayed here for our honeymoon and loved the quiet area and that it was not in town but close enough to Brenham for convenience. The house is very clean and well stocked with linens, cooking utensils, basic pantry items. The fosge is small though, so if you want to cook you may need to grocery shop frequently. “Had a wonderful stay. We were there for my daughters wedding at a nearby venue. The house was perfect for our group and Kelly was an amazing host. I would definitely reccomend staying here if you are doing an event at the Lodge at Mound Creek. Itbis only a couple of minutes away. This would be a perfect place for a family get away with kids. Kelly is an amazing host who responded quickly to all my questions and checked in withb me to make sure we had everything we needed. 5 stars is not enough……
