“The location is excellent. Secluded but convenient to shops, dining and activities in Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. Lots of great hiking everywhere! The decor in the cabin is perfect. The kids loved the game room and hot tub, and the wrap around deck was great! Easy and quick communication with the owner.”

“It was a gorgeous house with fantastic amenities. I really loved all the fun lights and the custom wood work was extremely impressive. Super close to Ingles with walking/hiking super close too. Lake lure is such a lovely place and this was a great home to stay at!”

“We primarily rented this place to have a place to sleep after a trip to Grandfather Maountain, but it was so much more than that. The fireplace was great and easy to operate, the home was cozy and inviting, very clean with simple and easy checkout instructions. Loved the Keurig machine and coffee selection, and the TV was easy to operate. Enjoyed popcorn and a movie before bed. Would definitely stay here again. One note - the room with the pullout sofa is cold if you dont have one of the……

“We were very happy with this house- fantastic view and tons of room for 6 retired ladies on their annual ladies trip. We met the host Gwen who gave us some great recommendations and also quickly fixed a minor issue. We enjoyed the restaurants in Lake Lure. GreyHawk and Lured had great outdoor spaces and food. All of us agreed (no small feat for six 60 ladies) that we will return to Lake Lure next year and to this house!”

“This was a great cozy cabin in the woods! We used the fire pit at night and the kitchen for a couple meals. We didn't get to see the local bear but the place was great. The road leading to the house is tight so I wouldn't recommend bringing a big trailer but our sprinter made it no problem and a short trailer wouldn't be a problem either.When we were leaving we met the host and she was very nice too. We would gladly come back.”
