「This was a lovely little oasis. Small but mighty comes to mind. The need was exceptionally comfortable and the sheets were amazingly soft! Tiny little bathroom but it has everything we needed and more. Clean as a whistle as well. All the stars, especially for the price point. 」

「We’ve stayed here for one night. The receptionist is quite friendly, small terrace water front view is good however there are lots of fly at front door of room. It’s scary as we need to open/close door quickly, otherwise the fly will run into room. When I talked with the female receptionist, she said they also feel weird but nothing there to attract fly though. All we can do is using the mosquito racket to catch fly…. 「Kitchen was great. Had microwave, fridge freezer, hotplate, coffee maker and kettle. Even an air fryer. Had everything we needed.
Place was clean and comfortable . I'd give the bed a top rating, slept really well. Although some aspects of the room was a little worn (floor/tub) I think the age of the property and price reflects this, so it wasn't something I would not have expected or was personally bothered by.

「Wonderful place, the room is spacious with a full kitchen and I highly recommended the Moonshine Spa, which is located on the property and very reasonably priced. I've been here twice and will probably come here again !」

「Overall, disappointing. I chose a pricier place for a wedding visit, and this was a letdown. It was basically a glorified motel. The hairdryer was attached to the wall and very cheap. There was no iron in the room. The bedding is tired, and the bathroom needs to be updated. I could hear guests above and below us. It was basically a glorified motel. For $200 a night in Powell River, I expected more. There is no breakfast on site.」
