This was our second stay. Lovely comfortable rooms, staff were really friendly. Breakfast was lovely and there was plenty of it. We also had an evening meal which was also very good. Would definitely recommend.
A pleasant stay in the centre of a picture postcard village. Comfortable and clean room and a comprehensive continental breakfast contributed to a value-for-money experience
Although there are only four rooms, ours was comfortable and equipped with all essentials (except it could use more electrical outlets). It was very dark and quiet at night, allowing a great night's sleep. The inn is exactly how a country inn should be and there is an absolutely superb beer garden. The staff were all attentive and considerate. The food in the restaurant is a bit variable but is perfectly adequate and our continental breakfast was fine for us. We'd be very happy to stay here again.
Just returned from Pollard's Inn we stayed for two nights.
I would highly recommend Pollard's it is very pleasant everywhere is spotlessly clean. It was enjoyable sitting outside in the garden we were lucky the weather was lovely. Rooms were good tea and coffee provided. Breakfast was very good choice of continental or full English.Staff very helpful
We had a meal in the restaurant in the evening it was good and reasonably priced. Would definitely stay here again

Liked: Staff & service
Ok but not great!
Pleasant staff. Accommodation was adequate but unspectacular. Could have been a little cleaner.
Very limited breakfast offer
We had such a lovely stay, the staff were incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home. The restaurant itself was clean, warm and cozy, with a really inviting atmosphere.
The food was absolutely delicious! Our dishes were well-prepared and full of flavour. It’s clear that a lot of thought goes into the menu and the ingredients. Also they do the best cup of coffee! We were pleased to find the rooms just as wonderful. Our overnight stay was comfortable and relaxing, with everything needed for a peaceful night.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience. The combination of excellent food, warm hospitality, and a comfortable place to stay makes it a real gem. We would definitely recommend it and look forward to returning!

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The food wasn't the best, ate elsewhere for 2 nights thereafter. Food menu very limited. Bed was comfy. The toilet was too close to the wall, uncomfortable. Rooms need updating, very dark. Nowhere to do hair & make-up very well. Glasses, cutlery not very clean..
Ideally suited in the middle of a model village. Large green space adjacent where we could exercise the dogs. Only four rooms which were accessed by a narrow staircase. Obviously the room was more typical of an Inn room and was not modernised. However the room was spacious and the bed comfy. It was tastefully decorated with pictures/ornaments which gave it a homely feel. The en-suite shower room was very small and our shower leaked under the bottom of the shower base. It was a bit dingy.
Check-in was a bit chaotic insofar as we had to check in at the bar which was very busy. The bar staff were more intent on serving customers than welcoming us. However once checked the staff were very friendly particularly those serving food. The food was excellent
We would most certainly stay again if we revisit the area.
