Awesome staff, great location, very clean rooms and breathtaking views from the rooftop terrace overlooking Love Valley where hot air balloons would take off. Breakfast was excellent. There is no lunch or dinner in the hotel dining area but no worries they recommend the best like Dibek for classic pottery kebab which we enjoyed much. Abdullah and the lady were both nice. My wife was surprised with a cake, balloons and wine when we entered the room as in a few days it would be her birthday. How sweet the gesture was from the hotel! That was definitely so much plus points. Will definitely stay here again when we are back in Göreme.

I initially booked a one-night stay at this hotel, which turned into four nights due to the exceptional experience I had with them. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. The staff here are incredibly kind and highly professional. They assisted me in booking all my excursions and ensured my safety throughout. I must commend the front office team, especially Abdullah, for their outstanding service in making my Cappadocia experience unforgettable. The breakfast, prepared by two talented women who treated me like family, was exceptional. Not to mention, my room was impeccably clean and well-maintained at all times. If you are seeking accommodation in Cappadocia, this is undoubtedly the place to be.

Nice cave hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast. The only downside is that their overcharge for anything you schedule through them: day trips, airport transfers, etc. So stay there but don't schedule anything through them.

Terra cave is perfectly located in Gerome town within walking distance to the sunset observation point and plenty of restaurants nearby. There was road pavement ongoing during our stay but once it is completed, the taxi pickup should be all right. We stayed for 3 nights from March 21-24 when it was snowing and all balloon flights were canceled. The room is a little outdated and small, what makes it different is the staff and care! Abdulla is very attentive and sent us fruit plate and wine due to the road construction. Even though no restaurant in the hotel, the breakfast was quite good quality. Overall it is very good choice considering the economic and service!!!

I recommend this cave hotel when staying at Goreme. The staff is excellent. Abdullah was especially helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The ladies at the rooftop breakfast also do a very nice job.

Beautiful but disappointing
The room and property were both beautiful and clean. We loved how unique the room was, and the roof decks and breakfast area were also very beautiful. However, the bed was very hard so my husband and I slept very poorly and almost switched hotels because of it. The other big disappointment was the breakfast - first of all, it doesn't start until 8:30 which seems quite late, especially considering there is a good chance that the call to prayer will wake you up (it went off around 5:45 am while we were there but I think it depends on what time sunrise is). Second, the food itself was disappointing - mostly Turkish food and no yogurt, no potatoes, and only underwhelming bread/pastry options. The made-to-order omelet was small and disappointing (the sign said it would include cheese and other fillings but was just plain egg). We ended up going to a coffee shop for breakfast for the remainder of our trip given how late and disappointing the breakfast at the hotel was. The location was very good, but parking can be difficult (though we appreciated the person at the front desk coming out to help direct us to where we could find more spots). The shower was difficult to get a consistent temperature, and we were unable to get the room to a comfortable (cool) temperature at night because the AC unit is on the other side of the room and not very powerful. Although it was beautiful we regretted not staying elsewhere.

Great place to stay in Goreme
Absolutely wonderful and charming hotel is Goreme! The rooms were tastefully decorated and the beds were comfy. Daily room service as well. Only small thing to note was that when taking a shower some water would always escape the shower. Staff was super nice and helpful with recommendations and shuttles.

I cannot recommend this place enough! I absolutely loved my stay at Terra Cave Hotel (Superior Cave Suite). The staff were incredibly lovely and my room felt magical with the stain glass door, and the simple but well executed designs. I stayed at four different hotels in Cappadocia and this room was definitely my favourite! The hotel has two terraces on different levels for taking photos (particularly at dawn for the balloons) and I loved the peacefulness at this smaller but boutique hotel. It's also walking distance from downtown Goreme; so much to see and do nearby. Highly recommended!

Not very good ,we are not happy for our staying
First of all, I would like to thank everyone for their efforts. We had a good stay, but this is not a hotel, but it has the facilities of a hotel. But the entrance door opens and closes with a key and it is very low in terms of security. Contrary to the comments I had read, the treatment of the hotel staff and manager was not good and professional at all. We did not receive a good welcome and the hotel manager had a very cold attitude. But at the time of check-out, he kept our things so that we could get to our entertainment more easily I appreciate him for that. She gave us a room opposite the WC and we often heard strange noises and it was very unpleasant for us. The bathroom was very small. The sheets smelled bad and damp and were very old. But the breakfast was very good and fresh, the best breakfast we ate. Location was close to the center, but the path had a high slope due to dirt repairs. The surroundings were crowded and we didn't sleep well. The hotel terrace was perfect for balloon photography.

The room was huge, clean and great bed with fantastic bedding/pillows. Excellent breakfast including made to order eggs. The staff couldn't have been more helpful - dining tips, arranging tours, spa and transportation. Very friendly manager. The town is undergoing a multi-year street reconstruction project. So many of the streets are in different stages of construction. When we left the Terra Cave street was just about completed! Highly recommend this place.

I absolutely loved my stay at Tera cave hotel. The staff was super lovely and the hotel rooms are gorgeous and clean. We had a lovely bath one night too and it was so romantic! My husband and I stayed in the Junior suite. We were so pleased with our stay! We wanted a cave room experience for our honeymoon, and this is exactly what we wanted. The room was decorated with Cappadocia carpet and tasteful furniture. The guy at the front desk was incredibly helpful! We went in there so many times asking for recommendations, and he was always very patient. We did the Hamam he suggested, and it was such a therapeutic and soothing experience. He also made a great restaurant recommendation and scheduled our airport shuttle. The view at the breakfast patio was stunning. Hoodoos, cats, hot air balloons, and smokes from the chimney all created such a Cappadocian image. The hotel is only a 10-minute walk from the Göreme center. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who visits Cappadocia!

10/10 - Would Recommend!
We loved our stay at Terra Cave Hotel! The owner could not have been more welcoming and helpful, and it is in a perfect location to explore Goreme. It also has a wonderful view from its breakfast area and terrace. Parking is on-street is limited, but was never a problem (we were there for four nights) because the owner always helped us so that we never went without parking a few short metres from the hotel. Would definitely recommend staying at Terra Cave!

One of the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Extremely clean, comfortable bed, great ambience, the owner is incredibly helpful, and the location is great (although that's every hotel in goreme). For $55 it's well worth it.

Hotel that makes your trip as smooth as possible
From gracious front desk hosts who helped coordinate tours and airport shuttles to the breakfast staff who served made-to-order omelettes, the Terra Cave Hotel was all one could hope for in a hotel. Every morning, we enjoyed the stunning view of the city from the hotel's breakfast buffet terrace. The breakfast was vegetarian-friendly and was sufficient to keep us full all morning. The staff was always friendly, never pushy, and we never felt pressured to spend more money or add more to our itinerary than we wanted. The Wifi (internet) connection was good enough for a quick video interview call to the US with only a few interruptions. The Wifi had no problem loading up a Netflix movie. Water pressure of the shower was impressive and the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. November can be chilly, but the room was always warm and the hot water never ran out. The location was a quick walk to the downtown, or a 20-minute walk to the Open Air Museum. Other sites are more convenient to reach in a day tour (the Green Tour was perfect for us), booked by the hotel--all we did was get picked up in front of the gate and dropped off at the end. It's surprising how important the hotel was to make the entire trip as smooth as possible. Bottom line: the location, amenities, and very reasonable price makes this hotel a place we'll recommend to others and remember to book again in the future.
