Awesome little getaway

Great little place for a quiet weekend getaway. Great food, concerts, and floating the river are all nearby. We enjoyed spending our evening in the pool and hot tub.

An Excellent Experience!

The Silo cottage was a perfect stay for our family. All the basics were in place. The property is very attractive and kept beautifully inside and outside. Instructions and communications were clear and simple to follow. Location was perfect for our trip and the activities we had planned. Would choose and recommend this again anytime.

Gruene Get-away

Cute little cottage with the basic essentials for a weekend stay. Loved sitting in the porch watching the wild life. The cottage was very clean. Great location and a 29 min walk to Gruene Hall.

Not quite what I expected

The communication was great and the property was clean and picturesque. Beyond that, we had issues. The unit we rented had a door knob issue; it took a credit card to pry our way into the bedroom. Also the toilet had flushing issues. After a pressing the request, we received another room. It was smaller than the original. The pool area looked really nice but the hot tub wasnt on. I gave the location 3 stars because while it is in Gruene, it's still far enough from "downtown" that you have to drive.
