Riverside getaway
Nice spot to spend a few days. River and pool looked great, we didn’t use due to weather and other activities. The kitchen was small but adequate, could use a few more tools (tongs and an egg turner, and maybe some wine glasses).

Stay away
We walk in the condo and it smells like pee. Try to contact Vrbo but end up with someone that’s in charge of the units, not the property manage. We already tried to talk with her and was told they did not manage that unit (118). We go to CVS and get a candle to try and mask the smell. Next I open the freeze to get ice, ice pours out over the floor. The ice maker is broker and never senses there is ice in it. I notify them if this as well. They say they will get maintenance over in the morning to fix it. They fix was to just get all the ice out except what is in the tray. I had raised the sensor arm ( after chipping away ice) and stop it from continuing. Since maintenance did not fix anything, the next person to let’s the arm down to make ice is going to have the same issue. As we get ready for bed, we find that the dead bolt lock on the front door does not work. I then looked at the door jamb and it had been kicked in at some point and their “repair” was to nail on a new piece on inside trim. They did not replace the jamb so there is really nothing stopping someone from just pushing their way in. This too was reported and like the ice maker nothing was done to correct so we sleep in a room without being able to dead both it for security. You want to avoid this place unless your some 20 something just there to party all night. To add insult to this whole weekend there is no coffee to make coffee, we are told to wash our own dishes and carry out all the trash. The

Great location
The condo is in a great location. You are close to several restaurants and breweries. The tube rental is less than a block away. The river is right outside your door. The condo is an older property but it is clean and well equipped. We had a very relaxing stay.

Last minute river trip
My daughter and I decided to take a quick trip to the river and loved this place. We were able to enjoy the pool and hop straight into the river. They have Texas Tubes right next door so we could rent tubes and float to the exit and get on the bus back home. The apartment was perfect. Will most definitely be coming back for years to come.

Great location. Perfect set up for three to six people. Was welcoming and clean but could be cleaner (smelled moldy and dusty). One screen door was malfunctioning and the ceiling fan in the living room needs to be replaced. Otherwise, I would definitely rent this specific unit again in a heartbeat.

Great Value!
Very pleased with the condo and we enjoyed our stay.. Management was VERY responsive to our questions and needs. The front bathroom water pressure was too low and needed to be addressed. Both bathrooms could stand to have some hooks for towels. The kitchen needed a larger fry pan. The microwave was so clean I could swear it was brand new. Otherwise everything was very clean and tidy.

Great place! Nice and clean. Water pressure was something to be desired in the showers. Parking is very limited in the ramps as hight restrictions to 6' and the outside parking lot is on a very steep hill.

Not worth price
If you are looking for a nice quiet relaxing place to stay just off the Comal River, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU!!! If you are looking for a place that keeps all the other people up till 3:00 a.m. or a place where people scream, yell, hoop & holler all night long or a place that resembles a drunken frat house, this is your perfect place!! The entire stay was horrible! There is no respect for anyone else staying at the River Run Condos. It doesn't make sense to have rules if your not going to enforce them. I spent over $900 to stay here for 2 nights and I feel completely ripped off. The condo is dated, the beds is absolutely the worst I've ever slept on. The best thing I can say about this place was the AC worked. We feel so cheated! I am so disappointed!! Chalk it up to another lesson learned.

Amazing little condo!
I’m giving 5 stars because our getaway weekend was amazing! My boyfriend and I had such a great time and weather was perfect! The condo did have a few flaws - the master bathroom didn’t have hot water and the faucet was loose. Also the master bedroom mattress was a bit lumpy and folded in the middle. But besides that- the location is awesome, hot-tub was great and would definitely stay again at this condo!!

Cute little condo. Slept our family of 4. Little kitchen with full sized appliances. Walking distance to downtown and tubing. Only bad thing is the showers in both bathrooms are horrible. Only reason I gave it 4 stars.

Very nice stay
I was looking for something on the river, and got it! Two tube companies on either side of the property, so you could literally walk over, rent your tube, and enjoy a lazy New Braunfels afternoon. Also, very walkable to downtown New Braunfels where you can get coffee/breakfast, and enjoy several different restaurants. Also, just a short drive to the highway if you need to do anything in San Antonio or Austin. Easy check in, easy check out. Would certainly rent there again! j

Disappointing
The property management company does a great job of communicating. The condo is a huge disappointment!! Opened the door and it smelled like a museum. Thrift store furniture. No cork screw/bottle opener. No tools for the community bbqs provided. Popcorn ceilings, maligned cabinet doors., the bifold door concealing the water heater is off track, the living room screen door is off track. The “curtains” don’t provide privacy. The plumbing in the master bath is in serious need of help.... I turned on the water, lost pressure with hot water, pulled the tab to bring up the shower....all the hot water went through the faucet, all the cold water came to the shower head. On the patio, found dirty styrofoam cups stuck in the rails, fishing line tangled through the rails. Absolutely disgusted. Pulled dishes and glasses out of the cupboard that were filthy. The owner has totally checked out on this property! I have traveled the world, and this is by far the worst VRBO I’ve stayed in! BEWARE!!! There is an owners charge ($200) when booking...I’ve never experienced this before! Location is great, management company is doing the best they can with this incredibly outdated, neglected property!

Fine Fun in New Braunfels
The reservation process was very easy and we will definitely use VRBO again. The condo complex is near to good restaurants though it was well set up for making your own meals which we mostly did. The condo size was fine for my husband and me and our two grandkids, but would be tight for more adults or kids. The towels were soft and plentiful and bedding was very good so we were most pleased. The master bedroom is quite large but sparsely furnished. Neither of the bedrooms have TV’s, so be aware of that. Also the bathrooms are tiny and we never could get the master bath shower to work, but the guest bath shower worked okay so we just used that or took baths. One thing my husband noticed was how low the shower heads were. Most men would have to duck down considerably to wash their hair. Overall the condo was comfortable, but could definitely use some updating and redecoration to make it feel more light and airy and more of a vacation getaway. The grounds are beautifully maintained and we absolutely loved the pool and hot tub. The river is right at your doorstep...next visit we’re definitely going to do some tubing. We enjoyed our time away from home and especially the pool and hot tub!

Washer, dryer do mot work. Toilets did not work had to use a jug to put water to flush. Oven had a pool of oil in it and smoked the whole apartment out.

The rental was alright but I wasn’t impressed. The coffee pot had mold in it, there was a dirty pan in the oven, master shower did not work, patio furniture was in bad shape and condo had an odor. Plus the key entry box is hard to work. But the blankets are super comfortable.

River Trip
This wasn’t my favorite RR condo that we’ve stayed in. It was clean. It served its purpose. There’s zero counter space for cooking. The beds are uncomfortable and loud. Nice balcony. The property management company was super nice and easy to communicate with. The check in process was great as you don’t have to go to the office or anything. They send you a code and your parking passes, etc. are inside the condo. So the process was very easy! The river run condos are my favorite property as there is river access and the pool and hot tub are great! This unit needs some work. The bathrooms should be updated, and the furniture should be updated as well. But overall, it’s a clean place to rest up for the river!

1st of all the property was okay, but there were certain things in the condo that did not work. Also the Air condition went out on Saturday morning and i contacted the property person in charge and it did not get fixed I had to take my family and rent 2 hotel rooms out of my own pocket cause the condo was so hot and the air condition did not get fixed or anyone came out to fix it
