「I had an emergency and was only able to stay one night, but enjoyed my stay 」

「Our review of the property at Sun Filled Lake House Living property from July 10 to July 18, 2026.Overall, we had a wonderful time. The property looked exactly like the pictures, and we absolutely loved the character of the old-style cottage. The setting nestled in the woods was beautiful, and having two outdoor sitting areas was a great feature. We particularly enjoyed spending our mornings having coffee on the front patio, which quickly became our favorite spot. We also spent a great day at...

「Our host was remarkably responsive and helpful. We had a lot of room with three full bedrooms with queen size beds, and a cleverly laid out kitchen and cozy living room. We were so glad to have two parking places, full kitchen, and the ability to walk to Wesleyan University.」

「'Poolside terrace gave wonderful views perfect for enjoying sun outside between flight waits , strongly recommend stopping by if your layover allows especially in warmer seasons'」

「Vintage vibes complete with the smell of grandma’s home. Beds were uncomfortable. Furniture was vintage and not in great shape. Hall bath had moldy caulking around the tub. Spiders and small bugs coming out of the drains.」

「Clean and worked well for what we needed. Comfortable beds」

「Washing machine broken, vertical blinds in front bedroom had broken slat, tv volume inoperable, garbage disposal not working, kitchen sink clogged, 2 burners on range & oven not working, back bedroom bed frame very sho. Neighborhood was nice and mattresses on beds were decent so we made it work for the 3 nights we stayed - but would not recommend」

「We had a wonderful stay here over the July 4th weekend and felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and peaceful, and being just four miles from our daughter’s house made the location absolutely perfect for our family visit. The home itself is beautifully maintained and has been tastefully renovated. We especially loved the updated kitchen and bathroom, and the refinished hardwood floors add so much character and charm. Most impressive of all, the house was...
