「We had such an easy booking and fabulous stay at Kentucky Lake, one of the largest man-made lakes in the world (there's a statement). We were so pleased with our stay. All the peace and quiet we were hoping for. Restaurants in the area were great. We're gonna head back next year, we were so taken with the area. Thank you.」

「The view was amazing! Hot tub was super clean (needs a new lid) house was very clean! Owner was great to work with!The dock was further away than the pictures made it seem and it was not accessible to my husband who has a bad back bc it was very steep. But!! It had everything a family would I need to have lots of fun at the lake!」

「Awesome place. Stocked with many and all items needed for a relaxing secluded time on the water. Lots of things for our teens to do to keep them entertained. The stairs down to the water were a little challenging, but gave us a good cardio workout to burn some calories. highly recommend to those who want to get away and relax. Remember to bring what you need ,it a good 40 minutes to grab a gallon of milk or loaf of bread. That being said the Downs House was wonderful and you won't be...

「This guest house is adorable, peaceful, and was exactly the retreat I needed to relax. Tons of wildlife were in the area to watch and the bed was super comfy. I rested very well here and would love to come back. The host Ches is a lovely man who made sure I had everything i needed and kindly checked in with me throughout my 4 day stay to ensure I didnt need anything. 」

「We had a great time at the property. The condo is equipped with lots of amenities, such as coffee, coffee filters, dishes, silverware and glasses, it is very nice. They even have charcoal that you can use. Fire ring on the property too.」

「Very nice place! It was so quiet and peaceful…it’s basically on a private road with almost no traffic. The house is as described, with several modern updates with guests in mind. Excellent communication with host. Plenty of room for 4 adults. The screened deck is awesome!」

「The lake house was very spacious, and the property was very well maintained. It had everything you need inside and out. We absolutely loved everything about it. We would highly recommend this lake house to anyone! 」

「Awesome spot with a great host! Convenient location to the lake and Turkey Bay OHV, which was the main reason for our stay. The host was fantastic, and renting waverunners ended up being the highlight of the trip for the kids. The location was perfect — close to the highway, gas station, market, and liquor store for refreshments. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back!」
