From the moment you walk in, everything feels intentional, polished, and genuinely high-end without trying too hard. The rooms are immaculate, spacious, and thoughtfully designed—honestly hard to leave once you’re in them. The amenities are on another level, whether it’s the spa, dining, or just the overall atmosphere of the property. Service is consistent, professional, and actually helpful (which, let’s be real, isn’t always a given at places like this). Everything runs the way it should, and it shows. If this is an option, it’s the only option. I’ll stay here every time without hesitation."

"I would definitely stay here again. It’s a cool historic building with real exposed brick, and in a great location. It’s right by the aquarium and hop-on city tours. It’s a 10-minute walk to the North End and Paul Revere’s house. It’s even closer to landmarks like Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market. The hotel no longer has a Starbucks in it but there’s a 7-11 right next door if you need quick snacks. I didn’t eat at Joia, the restaurant that is connected to the hotel, but it looked really good and is in the same restaurant family as some other top-rated Italian Boston picks. As an independent hotel, some of the finishing details were different than the chain hotels I usually stay in. But that just made it kind of remind me of independent hotels I’ve stayed at in Europe. Definitely not bad, just different! Overall this is a great little (big!) hotel."

"It's in a great location near a T stop and walkable to the Prudential Center and other cool shops on Newbury. The place smelled a little funky, and the room was a bit cramped (there was maybe 8 inches between the foot of the bed and the dresser). The breakfast was pretty sad, just a few packaged pastries and some apples."

"They didn't have room service, wifi, & you can't control the room temp. It's very unclear about parking that ended up costing $65. There was no complimentary breakfast. I ate dinner at the restaurant in the lounge & found out after I paid that there was a discount that should have been applied but it wasn't. I also forgot my hair straightener in my room & now having difficulty tracking it down. For the cost of the room I feel all these inconveniences are unnecessary & very disappointing."
