Pop's Birthday

We booked for my fathers 84th birthday. We had family come from all over. So much better than a hotel. Tons of space. Beds were great, very comfortable. Kitchens were great for making big meals. Pool grill and indoor grill made things easy.

A perfect family reunion location

This house and location were wonderful. There was so muxh room for all 14 of to be together in one large group of split up into smaller groups and not interfere with eaxh others conversations or activity. The property was clean and comfortable, the ameneties were great, and the views are spectaular. Our hosts were easy to contact and super quick with resposes to questions. Would love to stay here or at any Avant Stay property again.

Great place to stay for a large group!!

Amber Escape was a great place for us to stay!! We were a group of 18 adults and 1 infant, and it was phenomenal for a group of our size. The poolhouse provided an excellent location for the louder party animals of our group, and the main house was great for us to convene as a group for dinners and relaxation. The 2 kitchens next to each other in the main house was perfect for letting the group dinner chefs cook without having snackers get in the way. The house is on well water, so when all 18 of us showered in the morning, the water did end up drying out and we had to wait until the well refilled before we could use sinks and toilets again. Not a huge deal - it refilled to normal in a few hours! The smokehouse is also somewhat remote, and did not have a bathroom attached - the description does point this out, but we didn't fully realize how annoying that would be for the person staying there until we saw it in person. Overall a very great stay!
