This hotel was not clean, it looks very run down and nothing like the pictures on the site. It had a terrible smell and I could not stay here. I had to cancel my reservation. There is some construction going on the, the rooms look dirty, rusting on all hardware and furniture with stains and burn holes. Would not recommend this stay.

Though the front desk staff was excellent and attentive, the rooms had a very damp, moldy odor. The morning after our checkin, there were no clean towels and wash clothes ANYWHERE in the hotel! The bathrooms were subpar in cleanliness and the carpets were sticky as though they had not been shampooed since they were laid down. Wouldn’t recommend this property at all.

The TV in the room was working, and the pool was open and available on time. However, the gym was not accessible during my stay. Overall, it was an okay experience. The room itself was decent, but there was an unpleasant smell when entering the hotel.

The fridge in my room didnt work, had to get maintenance to replace it (special diet kidney disease) the building had a weird moldy smell mixed with bleach like they are constantly trying to clean and cover up the mold. They had homeless people with shopping carts sleeping on the concrete 40 feet from the entrance

The property is very outdated and needs a really good remodel done. The breakfast was tolerable, but nothing to brag about. The front clerks were nice and accommodating. The hotel is not one I plan to stay at again. It is conveniently located right off I-10 and access to Canal St/Bourbon St was cool. This hotel has potential, but needs a company that is willing to do the work to update it with compassion and care that works best for the patrons.
