The condo itself is beautiful, is safe and secure. However like other reviewers, we arrived to a place that had not been cleaned. It had laundry in the washer/dryer. The washrooms were filthy - used shampoo bottles, soap and washcloths in the showers. There were food stains in the kitchen; on the counters, cupboards and in the fridge. The floors were awful - dust and pet hair. It truly looked like it had not been swept for quite some time. We arrived later at night after a long travel day. I had to clean and do laundry before bed and then again early the next day. It was gross. We had been sent the wrong codes to enter the parking garage and the unit - one call to Vacasa customer service remedied that. As others have reported, Vacasa was available and apologetic but really lack in customer service. We booked this place in March (for August stay) and it seems from reading other reviews in the past few months, this cleaning issue is regular. Something has gone badly since we booked - reviews were fine then! My sense is Vacasa has been accustomed to this property being missed for cleaning. They have said they will refund our cleaning fee. Given the mess we arrived to, there should be more offered. This error is worth more than $150. Until Vacasa gets its stuff together, I would suggest booking a place that is not managed by them. There are many options available in New Orleans - and it is a beautiful city.
