Water pipe broke
Very nice place but ac had a motor on it that was burnt up an almost burned the house down then a water pipe wasn’t glued so it came apart an flooded the basement level

Mountain stay in the clouds!
The property is gorgeous! The check in process and communication were seamless. Everything about the house was as expected or better. They need a new pot for cooking… one is rusted. Beds were comfortable, the house is super spacious, bbq grill, fire pit, and internet were all great! Trust the reviews about the location. We had no problem with finding it using the GPS. The driveway IS straight up and stone, but we knew that. We did not have a 4-wheel drive vehicle, we have a front wheel drive minivan. We made it but if it had been raining we would not have. So a 4WD or AWD would be best. This location is about 30 mins up the mountain so you need to plan that time in as you come and go. It too about 40 mins to get into Tazewell or Harrogate. All this to just make you aware. I would 100% recommend staying here and I would 100% do it again! Great spot! Enjoy your coffee on the porch with a beautiful scenic view above the clouds and watch them burn away to reveal the mountains and water below!

Beautiful view, rough road to get there!
The cabin is beautiful and very clean. The view is breathtaking! Be sure to have your morning coffee on the deck. The ~1/2 mile drive up Cliffside Ln. in a front wheel drive SUV was nerve racking the first few times. A 4 wheel drive would be more suitable but we made it up each time so all was well. I would certainly stay there again!

Beautiful view
The view was amazing! There definitely should be a warning on how steep the climb is up to the cabin. It’s about 20 minutes all uphill and when you finally get to the drive it’s a very steep gravel drive with low hanging branches. We had no problem getting up it given we have Jeep’s and trucks. The house was clean, beds were comfortable. The pull out couch mattress; however, was not comfortable at all it’s very worn down and we couldn’t find any extra blankets or pillows for it other than a throw blanket and the throw pillows. There were dishes and utensils as listed, however no salt and pepper or anything like that so be sure to bring your own! Overall a decent stay and that view is one of a kind!
