Beautiful spot!

I can’t wait to stay here again! We stayed for. Work trip and didn’t get the chance to fish but next time for sure!! Stay here if you want a prime fishing spot and a nice dog who likes to visit for back scratches lol

Great Getaway Property

Very secluded right on the Muskegon River. Plenty to do on the property and around Newaygo. We never got bored. I would recommend this stay and we may be a repeat visitor.

Great cabin. Not too fancy, not rustic. Perfect spot for a weekend away for a music festival in the area. Plenty of space and ameneties provided. Friendly host and great value.

We had such a relaxing time staying on the river. Michael and Denise are great hosts and made sure there was nothing we needed. I would highly recommend them and their home. We hope to stay again.

Wonderful girls getaway

Had a wonderful stay! Michael and Denise have a beautiful place. They were so friendly and have thought of everything for a wonderful stay. Michael even started the camp fire for us! Thank you. It is a beautiful place on the river.

Romantic getaway

We were welcomed with a nice glowing fire and a candle burning. The view was outstanding. We did some fishing right off the dock and explored the town. We had a fantastic weekend the house is exactly as described. Loved it

Cozy property

This home had everything we needed to have our family Christmas. They even decorated for Christmas with a tree and all! Very accommodating owners. Being able to fish off the back deck gave us beautiful views and was convenient for the kids.

Awesome experience.

I was looking for a place to take my kiddos so they could learn to fish and spend some time away from everything. This was the perfect place to do just that. Mike and Denise are amazing hosts, and make sure you have everything you need. The location to the river couldn’t be better, the scenery is beautiful, and the memories will last a lifetime. We just got home, and my kids are already wanting to know when we can go back. Thank you, Mike and Denise for creating an amazing experience for our family!

Relaxing River Retreat

This cottage, right on the river, provided the perfect place for a family get together. We were able to eat all our meals on the patio while watching eagles, herons, osprey, and kingfishers. The short tube ride from the dam to the cottage was perfect for young children and so fun and easy that we did it twice in one afternoon. Fly fishing was productive right in front of the cottage. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The hosts were most helpful and made us feel very welcome.

Best Host ever

We had a great time relaxing at the Lodge on the River. The Hosts were great and we cant say enough good things about them. Super helpful and friendly. The location was unbelievable. We all loved it. We will be visiting again soon I hope.
