“Nice property, very clean. Nice staff. Would stay here again. Greta location for Highclere Castle and Stonehenge.”

“Check-in and check-out were incredibly easy. The room and the washroom, were quite spacious and clean. The complimentary coffee and tea were nice, and they also have a nice selection of juices and breakfast foods available downstairs for guests to enjoy. The slight downsides were the hair dry being quite dusty when I tried to use it, and the building is rather old so the windows had a slight draft. This wasn't an issue for us during the summer, but I can see it being slightly cold in the winter.……

“Lovely lovely old hotel/pub in a charming village. Dear Lord it was so hot when we were there but we hada turbo fan provided. Parking is slightly limited but we always nabbed a space. Everything was clean and the restaurant was great. The best place for miles.”

“The food was very good and staff great. Grace was a wonderful server. The inn is certainly olde and genuine. Not a pretend olde . Rooms are very unusual with individual names. All are separate from the pub. Obviously the pub is the main venue for the local population. The room was modest size but had two TVs. The shower floods the bathroom. Not a big deal.”

“The staff were friendly the room was clean. However, plumbing was shocking when a person in another room showered at the same time the cold water pressure dropped and risked scolding. In the room we were in there was poor ventilation with no aircon room was stiffling at night.”
