The hosts, Peter and Glenys, were very friendly. The cottage was clean and well equipped. The award winning bacon and home grown eggs as well as the rest of the breakfast supplies were excellent. The handsome rooster chatting with his neighbours at 4.30 am, as well as the chickens, fish, cat and dog all added to the home atmosphere. Unfortunately, the surrounding gardens could have done with a considerable makeover.

A small communication hiccup but didn't have an impact on the trip at all. A great location and fantastic hospitality. Super comfortable bed and as described ammenities. Great selection of breakfast items, you definitely won't go hungry!

Comfortable well equipped cottage, convenient location and hospitable hosts. Easy access to Newcastle downtown and famous beaches as well as Nelson Bay. Good spot to stop.

The cottage was lovely with everything we needed
Lovely cottage everything you would need plus extras like breakfast supplies. Gardens looked like they have been gorgeous in the past, but need lots of work to bring them back to their wonderful state.
