This was a wonderful hotel. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming, and the amenities were top notch. As someone who was not familiar with Newcastle, the location was outstanding with a host of restaurants, a Metro station and the airport nearby.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, and I cannot praise the staff enough for their kindness and support.
I arrived late around 9:00 PM with my electric car battery running critically low. Even though the hotel doesn't officially have EV charging facilities, the staff member on duty went above and beyond to help me out. He was incredibly thoughtful and offered to let me charge the car using a three-pin plug from the building.
While I chose not to use that specific method, I was so impressed by the gesture. It is rare to find a team so willing to think outside the box and offer creative solutions just to ensure a guest is taken care of.
Highlights:
• Customer Service: Top-tier and very empathetic.
• Atmosphere: Welcoming and supportive from the moment I checked in.
• Reliability: You can tell the staff truly care about the guest experience.
They really do go the extra mile to satisfy their customers. I highly recommend staying here if you value genuine hospitality!

I had a very pleasant one night stay in the Osborne hotel on January 7th the check-in was very smooth and quick I was travelling alone so my room was for one person and had everything I needed for my stay. staff are very welcoming and attentive the breakfast is table service and very good.would definitely stay here again.

The room was disgusting. It had a stale, musty odour, despite the window being wide open on our arrival in the middle of winter. The kettle was covered in muck, had food stains and was full of stagnant water. The carpets were disgusting, in the room as well as in the public areas. Not only were they not vacuumed but they had ground in dirt. The beds were really uncomfortable. The bathroom was a health hazard. There was urine stains down the front of the toilet, dirt and filth around the whole toilet including up the tiled walls. The shower cubicle had brown stained door seals as they have not been cleaned for years, if at all. There was broken plastic from the seals left on the floor of the shower cubicle. The tiles on the floor of the cubicle were stained and have never been cleaned. The shower heads had brown deposits coming out of them and the water pressure was non existent. There was no lock on the bathroom door and you could not lock the room door from the public area. The TV did not work. Avoid this hotel!!! A report will be submitted to Environmental Health and HSE.

Only disappointment is that the duvet cover was not clean and smelt musty-luckily there was a clean blanket in the cupboard and the heating was effective.

Room adequate for the 1 night I stayed there. Nice bathroom, looked like it had been fairly recently renovated. Breakfast pretty average. Area quieter than some of the other hotels on Osborne Road. Friendly staff and service. All in all good value for a budget hotel in this area where there is a lot of competition

Always a friendly welcome, and great breakfast - you won't find a better poached egg! A couple of minor maintenance glitches in the room, but the receptionist was happy to note them for attention after our departure.

I found the hotel very welcoming.
The room was very clean and comfortable and warm. The ensuite (although small) was sparkling clean with a good shower and freshly laundered towels.

Room was clean and warm. Bed and pillows a bit lumpy and firm for my liking so didn't sleep as well as I'd have liked. Breakfast was very good and staff were first class.
