The Bellevue property was very nice. We stayed at 10 Bellevue manor on the 2nd floor. I didn't notice any elevators in case someone needs one. We had a king size bed and the room had a sofa, chair and a good size bathroom and roomy shower. All was very clean. There's a cute front porch on the property, where you can just sit and relax. It's walking distance to many shops. For check-in I was concerned that we would be too late checking in, as we went to the dueling piano show in town. I just called the Bellevue and spoke with Dave who was extremely pleasant and very helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Clean room and friendly staff; good location. Happy that price included breakfast and parking. Inn is across from Viking and you can walk to Thames (you could probably also walk to a few mansions on Bellevue, if you are up for long walks, although I think someone mentioned there is a trolley that stops in front of Inn). We stayed in a basement room for 1 night. The breakfast room is also in the basement so you will hear activity in the morning. Night was quiet. It is an old building so you will hear the floor above creeping and water coming down the pipes. It did not bother us, but if you are a light sleeper, be prepared. I grew up in an 18th century house, so it felt like home.

The inn was nice, but could use updating. Could not get tv to work - left a message but no reply received. Individual at desk, pleasant. Small breakfast was a nice touch. Would stay again.

The place called Thursday night before the weekend after 9:00pm and said they were overbooked and couldn’t give me original room. We ended up having to stay in Bellevue house much older and not nearly as nice w 2 bedrooms - no communal area to hang out. So we were separated. A hotel room would have been bigger. The sound of tv from room below me so loud I could practically hear the entire movie

Basement queen was right off of the breakfast room, so it was very loud. The pillows were awful. Place was old, but clean. Good location, could walk to everything. My husband went to check out the breakfast and he said there was basically nothing being offered.

We had such a nice stay at the Bellevue Manor! Our room was clean and spacious, and all of the staff was very nice! The hot breakfast and fresh fruit were delicious, and the cranberry scones they served this morning were out of this world! Great coffee/bakery/sandwich store a couple of doors down, and the hotel has a porch to soak in all of the activity on Bellevue Ave. Very convenient walk to downtown shops and restaurants. We will definitely return!

Basement room was reserved, found out upon registration we were upgraded to a different building and room. Room was clean, needed to request extra blanket and pillows. Once plastic cups were open and used they were never replaced. Mismatched wine glasses were used for soda and sat in bathroom the entire stay, never replaced. Room temp was difficult to maintain, thermostat in hallway was adjusted by another guest and our room became a sauna requiring us to open window with little relief. Breakfast included was very mediocre, same egg casserole every day, unappealing ham or sausage, bland pancakes or French toast. Staff was friendly and attempted to help as best they could.

My stay at Bellevue Manor was great from start to finish. The room was very clean and nicely set up, and breakfast was a real highlight with different dishes every morning. We especially loved the French toast. The staff were welcoming and easy to talk to, and the other guests were just as friendly. It’s a comfortable place to stay while visiting Newport. Bonus: The free parking was awesome! (Didn’t use my car after we arrived, everything is very walkable)

Food and shops in walking distance. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Facilty is old and dated as expected for a b &b of this era, but clean and nice. Bed was a little hard but the shower was updated.

Nice Breakfast

The complementary breakfast service was wonderful. Fresh, hot, pancakes, French toast, sausage, quiche, assorted cereals, and fruit. The room and bathroom however were OLD, dated, smelly and small. I can appreciate this is an old historic structure, but it needs updating. The window/wall air conditioner was noisy and barely cooled the room. We would not stay there again.
