"We travelled with a group of 5 couples and stayed in the Welty House, known for being part of the ghost tours in Gettysburg. The rooms were decorated in period furniture. There was a beautiful courtyard with tables and chairs where we were able to gather. The beds are very firm, so this made it difficult for some to sleep. Rooms have electric fireplaces (except the Georgia room) which warmed up the rooms nicely. They moved me from the Georgia Room after the first night as the gas fireplace was...

" The first night the room was too hot because we did not not think about turning the heater off. I found the bed to be uncomfortable and had trouble sleeping. "We stayed at the Mooreland Garden Inn on a recent weekend. To say that this place is a gem is an understatement. The hosts, Dawn and Bruce, are amazing, both in their kindness, ability to meet your needs, and generosity. They go above and beyond. The house itself is beautiful and situated in a quiet, walkable area right adjacent to the Dickinson College campus. We walked everywhere since it was so convenient. The room was generous, and we were asked about our comfort and the temperature....

"We had a fabulous stay at the Stuart Manor. Gorgeous property, delicious breakfast and kind hosts. Rooms were spacious and bathrooms modernly updated. Great location not a far drive from what we were in town for, the Apple Festival. Would definitely recommend !"

Many amenities and thoughtful items, such as soap bars, shampoo, toothbrushes, coffee, games, fishing items, fire pit with wood, and basically everything you need for a fun, enjoyable time. Wonderful property that is so close to Gettysburg, and staying in a piece of history at the same time. Absolutely perfect! Our whole family could be in one place for our daughter's graduation from Gettysburg College....

"I traveled and stayed for the weekend with 6 adults. If you have kids, this would be fine as we stayed in a premiere cabin. The bunk bed were tight for us. The sleeper sofa was uncomfortable with the bar in your back and the main bed was ok. The place was clean and the shower had a good amount of hot water. The TV couldn’t get a signal to work. The place overall needs some TLC, but it was overall just ok. "
