"The interior of the villa is rustic with a very welcoming wood burning fireplace which was tended by the caretaker morning and night. "First thing to say is you'll probably need a car as it's about a 40 minute walk to Castelbuono - and coming back is quite steep walking. The upside of that is you are in a very tranquil location. "This property gave us and a fellow family lots of space to enjoy the Sicilian sun. The pool was great as was the view towards the surrounding hills and the sea. It was nice to experience a somewhat cooler climate than down the sea. On the downside, it took us half an hour to drive up and down the hill to get fresh bread in the morning.
