"This hotel had a beautiful courtyard and small pool although we didn’t get to use it during our stay. We stayed on the top floor and the room itself was lovely with high bamboo ceilings. I also appreciated that it had a large double vanity sink area. What was weird was no hand soap by the sinks so you had to walk in the shower and squeeze out body gel every time you wanted to wash your hands. Also, the guy at the front desk didn't seem very friendly and didn’t answer the phone when we tried...

"We really enjoyed our stay here. Of all the places we have been over 7 months in Southeast Asia, this is the one place I felt actually went above and beyond in terms of customer service! We enjoyed the free bikes and appreciated Lily giving us a map of things to do in the area. She also arranged our sleeper bus, while allowing us to stay in a vacant room that day. She literally put us on the bus and i'm so grateful for a positive experience. The room was clean, but is worth noting the bathroom...

"We loved Nin Binh and the Emeralda was our favorite hotel… we took 2 tours that we booked directly through the hotel, and they were awesome! Our guide was Dung, for both days, and he was great. We also booked our transportation to Hanoi through the hotel and it was very nice! If you think you want a massage, book early! We only got 1 out of 3 attempts because we tried to book to late."

"Beautiful property, literally in the heart of Tam Coc! The room and bed were so quiet and comfortable. Pool and outdoor area is gorgeous and so nice at the end of a long day exploring. The breakfast had so many delicious options. Renting their bikes was a highlight for us. Staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel was well worth the extra money (compared to others in the area), it really made our stay in Ninh Binh amazing!"

"Good stay but I would not consider this a resort. No dining service besides the morning breakfast. And not many restaurants immediately near it. Rooms were spacious and clean. But we had construction around us everyday starting at 7am sometimes as late as 8pm. Location not that great either but thankfully we found a taxi driver who we ended up calling for all pick ups. Perhaps once all the neighborhood construction is complete would be more peaceful. "

The breakfast is delicious- try the banana pancakes and lunch and dinner options were great too. The staff was so helpful. Duy and Tri helped with our transportation and tour bookings. The property is lush and beautiful with waterfalls, koi fish, and plants everywhere. We loved the unique bathroom with an outdoor feel and the balcony on the water. Staff in the hotel were so helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again. "

"We enjoyed our stay, the grounds and personnel were fantastic. We stayed in a quaint bungalow with a wall that was the actual rock so when it rained, this adjoining room got cooler and humid. We discovered a good gap in the screen where mosquitoes could enter but the issue was quickly and effectively fixed. Restaurant was great and the buffet breakfast was fulsome and varied. We would be happy to return. "
