"Everything is perfectly perfect except they don’t keep luggage after checking out. I have never seen hotels that have no service for it. It’s awful. "

"This is our favourite hotel in Himeji. Convenient to the train station, local shops and bus transportation. Rooms are comfortable and staff are professional and helpful. The property is aging a bit but still retains its old elegance and glamour. The breakfast venue on the top floor with its chandeliers and view of Himeji Castle is a highlight. The breakfast selection is exceptional at this price level. I especially like the public bath. Although small, it is elegant and relaxing, The attendant is always polite and helpful. The hotel has three main entrances and a system of elevators which takes a bit of getting used to but I have gotten to see this as part of the charm of the hotel. During our last five day stay, our breakfast location was moved to the main hall downstairs due to rennovations on the top floor. I am looking forward to the results next time I visit this hotel!"

"Beautiful room and the onsen are nice. The meals were an absolute highlight of the trip and all were delicious and full of variety. Spent a lot of time in the library/lounge and was grateful for that space. A beautiful place to rest and recharge."

"The hotel is nicely decorated. Our indoor hot spring bath is nicely arranged. Dinner was delicious. Certainly, few more or a larger piece of wagyu beef will be great. Breakfast has lots of variety. "

"Amazing stay! Hotel staff very communicative, the ryokan room was beautiful and the private onsen was sooooo nice. Breakfast in the ryokan was delicious too! There is a shuttle bus that can take you to the main area as the ryokan is up a steep slope. "
