"We wanted a comfortable, old English BnB with a nice pub downstairs and this fit the bill! Owner was super friendly and helpful, served up a huge and tasty full English breakfast in the warm, historic dining room attached to the pub. The area was quiet and beautiful with an old church down the road. Couldn't have asked for anything more."

"The cottage is situated up a country lane in the grounds of the farmhouse (owners). It's about 30 mins from the coast at Southwold and a good base for exploring. Check-in with the owners at the farmhouse was excellent and they were very helpful. They came and welcomed us shortly after we arrived (as did a muntjac deer!).We did have a problem with an unpleasant smell in the bedroom we didn't use - from the shower in the ensuite. We spoke to the owners about it and they sorted it out quickly. The other bedroom was fine and the ensuite had a bath with overhead shower (which we could see in one of the photos - important for me as a right leg amputee!!).The remaining accommodation was as described in your details.It was a very peaceful place to stay and there was a welcome pack which included a lovely ginger cake. We had all that we needed for self-catering.Our main problem was when we booked the holiday as the Vrbo online payment area wasn't working and we started getting messages from cottages.com which was confusing as I was using the Vrbo website!!!!!!"
