Hotel Riu Palace Aruba - All Inclusive

"We had a wonderful stay overall and really enjoyed our time at this resort. From the moment you arrive, the beautiful grand entrance and impressive architecture give the property a very special feel. The resort itself was very clean, beautifully designed, and had a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the food. The buffet had a great selection and everything we tried was delicious. We also loved the layout of the restaurants and the overall dining experience. The cleaning staff deserves a special mention as well — they were friendly, attentive, and spoke excellent English, which made communication very easy. The pool area was another highlight. There were plenty of activities around the pool, creating a fun and lively atmosphere without taking away from the relaxing resort experience. And of course, the beach was absolutely beautiful! The beach and the gorgeous water were definitely among our favorite parts of the trip. There were just a few things that could be improved. We noticed an unpleasant bathroom- type odor in the elevator and hallway near our room, the room floor could have been mopped a little better before check-in, and bathroom necessities could have been replenished more generously. We also experienced a delayed check-in and would have appreciated a little more assistance from the hotel staff while we waited. These were relatively small things compared to everything we enjoyed about the resort. We’ll be back."

"The room was big beautiful and spotless. It had everything we needed from dish soap and sponges to an entire clothes rack for our bathing suits, etc. the grounds were gorgeous, pool was perfect, location excellent. Beach is also beautiful. Service at passions was a bit slow but that is my only tiny complaint. Front desk people were a pleasure to speak with. We loved it!"

"All was well with my husband’s stay at this hotel! He really liked it & plans to return. However, one hiccup. He was unable to check in on the first night. He was too late. He still paid for that night despite not staying in the hotel & did not get the money back or given the option to use another night. I don’t feel this is fair business & my husband is too kind to argue this with the staff at the front desk. Anyway, we will add this hotel to our list of ones to revisit. My husband is from Aruba based in America now, we come often! Thanks :)"

"When we first checked in and went to our room…It wasn’t the room we booked. They tried to tell us it was the same. So, we booked a One bedroom beach tower room. They wanted to place us in a One bedroom studio. Not enough room in the studio for the cot that we needed for our children. Thankfully, they changed the room for us. It would have been too small for 4 adults."
