"Check in was smooth and efficient. Desk staff were pleasant and professional. Room was spacious and clean. Dresser and closet provided adequate storage for clothing. Bathroom was functional and well lit. Room attendants were helpful and courteous. Parking lot provided ample capacity, and was well lit and litter free. Swimming pool and lounge area was fine. Opportunity for improvement: Room carpet was worn and torn. Suggest replacing carpet with laminate flooring."

"Staff was awesome, especially the woman with the long dark hair at the front desk, and the blond woman who works day shift at the restaurant (ponytail, has a bandage on her face) who remembered the name of my dog and brought him dog treats and me a cup of coffee before we were even seated. Room was very clean, view was even better than advertised. Food was very good, and the prices, especially at happy hour, were quite reasonable. I didn't realize how far away you are from the "action" when I booked, and this could be a real draw for some people, and I did enjoy how peaceful the beach was at night. I just wish the bar/restaurant was open later than 9:00 since it's like 30 blocks to the next closest place. Otherwise 10/10. Would recommend and book again."

"Everything was great from checking in to check out. The desk clerk, rather clerks, were helpful, and very friendly. All staff we encountered during our stay were friendly. Our room was on the fifth floor. The hallway was clean and so fresh smelling. The oceanfront view was excellent. We felt safe and well cared for the continental breakfast was good and staff was again excellent. we do plan to return again."

"I checked in late to the Ocean Resort and they were more than happy to accommodate. The person who met me around 1 AM was still smiling and happy unlike some places where the employees are drowsy and less attentive. My one downside to this entire stay came upfront. There was no parking available at the property when I pulled in. The lot was full, so they gave me a pass to hang from my rearview mirror and had me park a half a block away behind a building. The following morning, I was the only vehicle in this area and it didn’t look like it was the best neighborhood by daylight. As for the hotel itself, the views are great. The rooms are what you would expect for the price. There’s a small coffee maker in the lobby and they have fruit flavored water if you forgot your beach stuff or suddenly need more. There is a store attached to the hotel so you can walk into your flip-flops straight from your lobby into the beach shop, which is nice. All in all I would stay here again."

"The place was great. My only issue was our balcony overlooked part of the roof. That would be fine if the roof wasn’t covered in trash, clothing, etc."
