“The property is well situated about half way if doing the Douro drive loop. Grounds are lovely with rooms overlooking vineyards - very serene and quiet. Lots of onsite parking. Staff encourage picking and eating fruit off the trees - the oranges are excellent! There is a nice pool area. At check in staff member was very helpful suggesting points of interest, restaurants, etc. The room and washroom was very dated with a large veranda. There was mold on the ceiling in the washroom. “We enjoyed be so close to the Camino. It was centrally located to explore Valença and the great old town restaurants. Our favourite thing was sleeping with the windows open and hearing the church bell chimes. ”

She couldn’t do enough to make sure that we had everything we needed or wanted. The property and backyard with a pool was beautiful! We highly recommend……
