The slow elevator and long wait times for hot water in the shower to actually become hot suggested that this is an older property. However, it's been immaculately maintained, the staff was super friendly, and the breakfast was good. We would definitely stay here again if we visit Charleston in the future.

Everything about this hotel was excellent EXCEPT for the beds! It was impossible for us to get a good night's sleep because it felt like we were laying on hard rocks the entire night. Upgrade your mattresses to memory foam and it would be a perfect place to stay. Getting a good night's sleep can not be done when you feel like you're sleeping on a pile of sharp rocks because the mattress is so lumpy.
