"The house is in a great location for accessing the Coastal Path- north and south there are great walks. Angela is a helpful host and the check in process was very easy. Parking is easy, a folder with all the information you require is at hand and you are right in the centre of beautiful Alnwick. However, we wish we were notified, about the building work next door, so we could decide if we stayed here or not. Work is permitted from 8-5 Mon-Fri and 8-1 on Saturday. "

"I can't recommend the Bailiffgate Hotel highly enough. The staff are all so lovely. Our concierge, Kevin, was a delight. The team seem to be like family, they work together in such a friendly way. The building, a former school that's been extended, is absolutely stunning! Our room was really spacious. The gorgeous bathroom had a freestanding bath, as well as a walk in shower. Breakfast was delish - excellent choices and cooked to order. We'll be back! "
