"We stayed one evening at the home, my daughter, husband and I. The house was not in a great shape from the outside. Large amounts of chipping paint and nesting birds causing a badly muck stained window (nothing like in the advertising picture). Once inside, the house is in better shape and overall cleanliness inside was good, there is some nice decor too. However, outside the patio chairs and tables are in need of cleaning or changing and there were two large bags of rubbish. I did complain...

"We had such a lovely time during our stay here. The property itself was beautiful, very peaceful and quiet. There were games and stuff to do at the property as well.The area was nice, if you’re willing to travel a little further from it I would say there is plenty to do nearby as well! I recommend Henrhyd Falls, the beach isn’t too far either! Would stay again, thankyou for hosting us!"

"It is a lovely apartment that met our needs. Beds were very comfortable and living room relaxing. Beautiful views from back of apartment. There are lovely walks for our dogs in the valley, it was only 15 minutes to the dog friendly end of the beach in Port Talbot. We had a great stay. "

"Lovely house in a nice location. A river at the back wirh a field of sheep to overlook. It is in a small and very quiet estate. We did not hear anyone. All we could hear was the river. The house is all you need for a stay, clean, well equipped, good communucation. Parking at the front. There were 5 of us , 2 adults and 3 children, 13, 10 & 7. We were more then comfortable with pleanty of space. Good cooking facilities and pleanty of storage space "

Therefore, Hotels.com has miscommunication with Ty Nant hotel and I been lie about the refund. Keep up the good work Hotels.com Anyway, it doesn't matter what's my opinions. "The apartment was clean and quiet, and met my needs for a pleasant stay in the Rhondda. Although on the main A4233, I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet the back bedroom was. I did not hear the traffic in the back bedroom. Being on the main road, parking close to the entrance to load/unload your vehicle can be hit or miss. There is a good Chinese takeout just a few doors down, and grocery shops are a short walk away."
