“The front desk staff are friendly and the room is spacious. The breakfast served in the morning is simple and acceptable, but not as expected.”

“地點很好，價錢合理，就是空調比較大聲，所以我不能給五星的原因。”

“Very good features & amenities. Well lit parking area. Room & bed very comfortable. Very quiet & clean. The free breakfast had more offerings than expected; delicious! Property was close to shops & sights. Will have to stay longer next time to take in the gym, pool, & hot tub. Was good to know a pool was available for use this time of year.”

“Overall experience was poor, the dining room and bar had a great feel to it... Absolutely disgusting breakfast. Worst I've had we will never be going back there again..”

“The hotel took the extra miles to provide a bed for my baby even though the baby cot was taken by other guests.”

“Nice room, big and clean. Very close to downtown ”

“My Honest review is The place outside is like a classic, simple motel. But when you enter inside the room its like a five star hotel, its Clean, with best amenities, soft bed and modern things/ furnitures, specially the shower its awesome! Its my first time in this Motel but because of my experience here will definitely recommend this to my friends, plus the cost of per stay is very reasonable and affordable. Good job on your customer service “Departure bay Motel”! 😎👍”

“good location, convenience，mattress too soft, washroom a bit small and water flow slow in bathing.”

“Breakfast is simple, no many choices .”

“对面就是个小小的海湾，很别致的一间民宿，看得出店家对生活品质的追求，客房在二楼，一共有两间，有共享的客厅和厨房。店家自己住在三楼。会准备美味的早餐，前提是到店后填写早餐菜单，店家会提供一张备选清单，在上面填写用餐时间及选择喜欢的口味，完成后放在餐台上第二天就可以边赏海景边用早餐啦！”

“The Painted Turtle was a good accommodation choice for my stay in Nanaimo. The location was convenient and the availability of cooking facilities was a plus.”
