“Good location if your visiting south haven and the local beach/lake areas. Clean building and a quiet stay. Ice machine on 3rd floor didn't work. By Monday morning breakfast, there was less to choose from to eat from over the weekend and the biscuits were not cooked in the middle. Poor breakfast experience but i don't have high hopes with complimentary breakfasts anyways. Our primary focus was a clean and well maintained place to stay. “Upon arrival, the staff greeted us and showed us to our room right away. The room was clean matched the description exactly. We enjoyed a prepared breakfast that was great. Hope to go back again soon.”

“Tim and Sherry were excellent hosts. Tim is a gourmet chef and made the most creative and delicious breakfasts. Sherry makes their wine and is so knowledgeable! It was a very clean home and several well thought out amenities such as night lights throughout the rooms and a well stocked refrigerator with beverages and water. Also there were several different areas you could sit to enjoy your coffee or wine on a balcony or several different areas on the grounds. The area is surrounded by beautiful……

“WiFi unavailable. Soap missing from bathroom. Food mediocre. Tub needs rubber mat due to slippery surface. This contributed to my fall in the tub. Very expensive for a 2 star stay!”

“They were able to get me in a room early. That was nice but the room wasn't very clean. The bathroom had no exhaust fan so there was mold on the ceiling and around the tube. Pretty gross.”

“Close to the downtown”

“There is no lake view in a room that said it was lake view. It was clean. The king-size bed was beyond terrible. It was like 2 twins pushed together with a very lumpy mattress topper. No closet. Very tiny room. The hand sink was in the bedroom. The house was built in 1883, if it had been haunted it might have been worth the $250. It was neither haunted or worth the $250. ”

“The elevator is broke and has been since last October. Had to drag my cooler from the beach amoung other thimgs, up 2 flights of stairs. The TV had two remotes and initially was a challenge to operate. The person who checked us in didn't mention the broken elevator and didn't give any times for the breakfast. Just handed me the key card, stated the room number...and that was it.”

“Everything was great. Only drawback was the water in the rooms had a smell and didn’t get very hot.”

“This is a great location, and they keep everything clean, the staff is super helpful. My reason to leave 4 stars is that my room, in one of the outside cabins was slanted, specially in the bathroom area, that was tricky after a while”
