“Needed a last minute place to stay, and this was clean and quiet, with attentive staff, though poorly maintained (eg old furniture stored in the hallway, bathroom exhaust did not work). The room had a huge hot tub in the corner with a wall mirror. Fantastic location, easy drive to downtown Zion and Illinois Beach State Park.”

The window was cracked and the bathroom floor tile was cracked. The ceiling light was on a timer so it kept turning off. But the sheets seem clean and there was no indication of any bug activity. “I would not recommend this hotel. The ceiling above the shower was coming down, the towel holder in the bathroom was falling off the wall, the new flooring didn’t reach behind the toilet, a picture was removed from above the bed but the metal clips were still hanging there. And the batteries died in the card device of our room door so our security cards wouldn’t work. It was a Sunday and maintenance doesn’t work on the weekends. The front desk had to use a makeshift wire and string to feed under……

I also think the vending machines could be a bit cheaper. i also wish the rooms service menu was vetter because i tried to order and it was forcing me to use cashapp to purchase things and also said it would take 2 days for the food to arrive for some reason. but aside from that, the room was nice and clean and i had a good stay!”

“It was what I look for in a place to stay. Staff was great room was very clean and the continental was really good. It was everything I look for in a hotel. My husband and I just retired after 30 years. We worked at a State Resort Park in Ky. So we really look at how maintained and the cleanliness of the facilities. Continental breakfast was replenished. It just was a really good experience.”

“Rooms are small with no closets, but with coffee maker, mini fridge, and microwave. Hotel was renovated last year and rooms and common areas were extremely clean. Staff was very friendly. Full hot continental breakfast included coffee, apple and orange juice, oatmeal packets, cereal, donuts, eggs, sausage, pancakes, milk, fresh fruit, bagels, toast and more. Wifi was free and signal strong on first floor where we stayed. Parking is free and plentiful.”
