North Valley Ranch is a former executive hobby ranch located in the ideally located town of North River, Newfoundland, only 50 minutes from St. John's International Airport, and only 45 minutes to the Canada Games venues. The ranch sits on 20 acres on the North River just 2km from the ocean at Clark's Beach, Newfoundland. North River is a great home base for exploring the northwest Avalon Peninsula, and beyond, with famous sites, like Cupids, Brigus, Harbour Grace, Port de Grave, Bonavista, Trinity, Dildo, and many more. Bay Roberts is only 5 minutes away for all shopping and supply needs, and unique and local restaurants are abundant.
The Main house is 3000 square feet, sits on 20 acres, leading down to the shores of North River, where you can enjoy fishing for 6 different species of Trout and Salmon. In the nearby bay you can experience Cod, Mackerel, Herring, and Caplin fishing. The ranch is still home to sheep, chickens, and horses, but raised and cared for by our friendly ranch hand, and local information guide.
The manicured gardens, and grounds, are an entertainer's delight, and caters to all types of visitors and vacationers. There are 3 main bedrooms, and a private den, with queen pull out sofa, providing sleeping for 8.
The chef's kitchen has gas and electric cooking surfaces, 2 ovens, and indoor charcoal bbq.
It is fully equipped with all the featured and conveniences.
There are also 2 outdoor gas and wood/charcoal bbq's too.

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING RENTAL CARS: Every summer there is a shortage of rental cars in Newfoundland. When planning your trip to Newfoundland rental cars should be reserved well in advance. If you are a guest of North Valley Ranch, and having difficulty reserving a vehicle, please notify Robert for assistance. We are in the process of having a dedicated Rental vehicle available for all of our guests, starting July 2025.
This is a new property on VRBO and we'll be adding many new features as we grow, so check for updates.
We now have bicycles included, and seeing that the North River is very safe, we hope to include Kayaks, and PaddleBoards, in the near future, (but to be used at your own risk, and children must be accompanied but an adult).
