"What truly made our stay special was the incredible kindness and dedication of the staff. They were warm, welcoming, and really made a difference. As for the accommodation, there is absolutely nothing to complain about: the room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable for a good rest. It was the ideal pit stop on the road after leaving Dublin, just before heading out to explore the Rock of Cashel. We recommend this place without hesitation!"

"A truly ethereal location, unlike anything we have ever encountered. The accommodation so reflects the owners, Dave and Suzanne, who were so warm and friendly. If you want something different, gothic/eclectic, in a beautiful mid-Ireland settlement, this is for you!
And it was dog friendly! Loved it!"

"The newly renovated Abbey Court rooms are sparkling, lovely and incredibly quiet and peacefull. The one draw back is that there are quite a few small flights of steps all over the place. The dungeon bar has excellent food at reasonable prices. Breakfast is great. I did not try the library bar but the room is beautiful.. The building itself is spectatuclar."

"Loved the vibe of this hotel. Staff was extremely helpful, friendly and made the stay great. Rooms were clean, carpet was a little dated but still clean. Great location, with lots of eating and shopping options in walking distance.
Bonus, Our room had a great view of the Kilkenny castle and it’s within walking distance."
"Everything was excellent. Only complaint was there was no AC and the room was sweltering. I understand AC isn't the standard but for a modern hotel you'd think you're paying for the comfort of sleep. Find a hotel that has AC if you know it'll be hot during your stay."
"We stayed in the new part on the ground floor out at the back of the hotel.Room 41.
Room was modern and very clean and near the car park which is free during your stay.
Hotel is dated and full of character which we liked.
Hotel is situated in Kilkenny city, walking distance to castle, restaurants and bars.Breakfast was excellent in the hotel, cold buffet and you order your hot breakfast from a menu.
Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful."
"Property was clean and comfortable, staff were helpful and friendly, which is something that I believe is important. Food was very good and breakfast was excellent."
Bunratty Castle Hotel & Leisure Club, BW Premier Collection
10/10 Excellent
"Upon arrival, the hotel grounds are well-presented & maintained, with a welcoming entrance. The decor is stylish, and the building feels contemporary & clean.
Our room was very spacious, with a really comfortable bed, all amenities required and a modern bathroom. A genuine highlight for me was the lit mirror that also has Bluetooth - meaning music while we showered and got dressed!
Breakfast is a generous spread of high-quality hot options - thick cut bacon, homemade hashbrowns, eggs to order - to cold choices of smoked salmon, meats, fruits, yoghurt, cereal, scones & more! I also noted a really great gluten-free range. The coffee is delicious and the fresh juices were lovely too. Possibly one of the best hotel breakfasts I have enjoyed. The staff were also very attentive, clearing plates, replenishing stock & helping out clientele.
As an avid gym goer, the fitness suite was an important fixture, and it was perfect to get a good workout in. There is a mix of cardio equipment, a range of dumbells up to 30kg, benches, a few weighted machines, cables including lateral pull down, & a smith machine. Easily got a good workout in. The pool is relaxing, the sauna, steam and hot tub are great too. Very chilled vibe.
One downfall for me was that upon booking, I wasn't made aware that spa treatments weren't available - and I was planning on booking some in."
