“Lovely site in the Welsh hills with lakeside or woodland lodges that were clean, comfortable and have everything you need for a short self catering break. The check in process was very easy and they offered a pre-check in online too. “Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Kitchen is on lowest floor. Entry and dining and parlor are on street level, and there is no bathroom on that floor. So it’s a trek from kitchen to loo. The top floor……

“We have just returned from a fabulous 4 night stay where everything was just perfect. The thoughtful design and attention to detail in the accommodation is superb, there was nothing that hadn’t been thought of or provided. Nicola and John were the perfect hosts, welcoming and available but not intrusive at all. Would highly recommend, and look forward to staying again in the future ”

“My daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc on. wifi connection great. Don't wear sliders on your feet when trying to do the fire or else you will slip on the mud which is hilarious to a teenager btw. Hot tub takes about 4 hours to……

“There are no shops nearby unless you have a car. Very secluded area perfect for a weekend getaway from laptops! The hosts are very responsive.”

“We had an amazing stay here. We booked the large glamping tent and loved it. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious on both mornings. They even gave our wee collie nessie a sausage and some water, which went down a treat. Couldn't fault this gem of a place and will definitely stay in the near future when visiting our relatives”
