“Helpful staff. Sorted out parking. Table broken in room. Shower no pressure, dribbled out. Room fan very poor, very little air coming out even at high speed. Complimentary bodywash and shampoo so small not worth open the packed.”

“When we arrived i bokjed us in and paid before check in and got key everthing fine got shown our room ,then went out with husband and our kids at night getting a fone call from manager saying i had to get out room as i hadnt booked the potion room which i had and i would have to get out that room in the morning , long story short had to go back n proof i had booked the potion room so didnt have to leave n that the wizardry had been double booked, manager didnt have a clue what was going on he……

“Our stay Was nice and relaxing.bed was comfortable. Tea coffee with lots of milk . Free standing bath made a nice change also with shower hose.complimentary shower gel , shampoo and body lotion .Warning though! If you book into the restaurant make sure your hungry generous meals lots of choice very pleased with what we had . Breakfast was lovely too.Out second time here . Thanks”

“Staff was helpful carrying luggage upstairs. Room was very clean, Tea and coffee and,biscuits plentyful. microwave came in handy for late night snack., Best shower facilitiies weve had ,compared to other places weve been. Breakfast menu was good but ,we are not big eaters. Good place to stay.”

“It is set in a beautiful location but the rooms feel really close together and you can hear others coming and going and talking. Sadly I was unable to enjoy the breakfast due to it not being served before I had to leave. I am a business traveller so appreciate I may not be who they are geared up for.”

“My wife and I stayed for three nights at Bartles Lodge in August 2026. We were warmly welcomed by proprieters upon arrival. The premises were clean and comfortable, we opted for a continental breakfast and the selection offered was excellent. We ate two evening meals which were hot and tasty and well presented. The main lounge was spacious with a bar, tv and reading materials. Although we weren't fishing, the lodge was a great facility to stay at in quiet and beautiful surroundings. We highly……

“Lovely friendly staff, always remembering that I stayed before. We get the room we have requested. We order a vegetarian roast which is outstanding, food delicious and hot. Plenty of parking. Depending where the room is you can hear the traffic going past in the evening & mornings but overall alovely stay. That's why we keep going back and also you have a choice of breakfast part of the deal.”
