Excellent lodging with a relaxed rural vibe. Only a couple minutes drive from any service you could require. Nice place to go walking around. Terrific breakfast provided. Would definitely stay here again.

Church farm lodge is a fantastic bed and breakfast. The quality and comfort of the rooms is excellent. Spacious with superb facilities. The quality of the bed which was very comfortable and the associated furnishings is brilliant and the cost for a night is exceptional value for money. Thank you. We will definately stay again if we are in the area and will happily recommend the premises to others.

Church Farm Lodge
Stayed over for one night due to business in the local area, was very grateful for the extremely comfortable room bed and armchair in front of a smart tv. Shower was also most welcome. Hosts were very hospitable, the breakfast was top notch and a great night’s stay and sleep overall

The site is fabulous-the hosts genuine and very welcoming-the breakfast was superb-the only drawback for me was a mattress that was not comfortable enough for me nor was there a hardback chair in the room.

Thank you for staying. shame to hear about the mattress and a bit strange as they're new mattresses..Regarding hardback chairs, all rooms apart from 3/4 or them have chairs and sofas. it would just depend on what room type etc you booked to what you got.. next time please just ask and we can sort you out!

Excellent, bit remote but worth the diversion
Very good, room clean and comfortable bed. Only critism is that the breakfast food was a bit dried out and overcooked otherwise tasty. Need access to milk and coffee making ingredients in the dining room

You kind not welcome here! Rude with attitude.
I'm really disappointed to have to leave a review of this nature. Especially given the room itself was nice BUT.. And its a big but. I booked one of the master suite and paid in advance. My partner arrived before me and was told there was no booking, despite him showing the owner proof of booking & confirmation of payment she was still insistent that she couldn't find the booking. It was only when my partner looked over at the list he was able to spot my name immediately. Given that the hotel only has two suites and i had booked one of them. I find it VERY strange that she couldn't see our reservation. The next day after handing in my keys after breakfast, as i was leaving the same women approached me with my booking in her hand and told me i still needed to pay. Luckily there was noone left in the dining area to witness her rather abrupt and accusatory tone of voice, as this would of been embarrassing. I informed her that i had already paid in advance, not knowing what my partner had already gone through at this point the previous day. I informed her repeatedly that i had already paid, she continued to insist i hadnt! She finally accepted that i had already paid for my stay but only after i provided proof via my online banking. The fact that my partner had already shown her proof of payment the previous evening leaves me to believe her approach to us definitely had signs of racially negative undertones. So no doubt she'll be glad to hear we won't be back!

Firstly just like to say thank you for staying. Regarding your partner checking in and payment confusion, apologies for the confusion and human error, its no excuse but the reason for the confusion was- we have 3 suites and 1 of the baths had been broken so we'd moved you rooms but not moved you on the system, Mistakes happen and once again really sorry! With regards to being rude/ abrupt and no one being in the breakfast room, there where 3 couples and other than wrongly asking you to pay was not rude at all (once again really sorry for the payment confusion). The Most disappointing part of all of this is you saying there where 'signs of racially negative undertone', what a load of rubbish! We have friends and family who are from all around the world and of different cultures, you cannot just accuse people randomly of things, especially stuff like this. We asked asked for expedia to remove this. When you left you even said to us what a lovely stay you'd had.. Thank you for trying to damage our reputation and please don't stay/ lie again.

Really friendly staff/owners. Room was really nice. It was very clean. Breakfast was good. Enough choice to make a hearty breakfast to set you up for the day. The only thing that let it down slightly for us was the bed was a bit lumpy and not the comfiest. But otherwise this place is great. Price reasonable as well.

Very close to A14. Extremely convenient in every respect - near to parking, ground floor level accommodation, good quality breakfast and 2 mins walk to a very nice pub for evening meal. We will definitely come again - half way point in our journey.

Amazing find
What an amazing find. We chose to split a long journey and this hotel is approximately half way. Superb modern barn-style accommodation, family run, comfortable spotlessly clean rooms with free wi-if and a delicious breakfast included. Excellent, what all small hotels should aspire to. Lovely local pub too. Have told all our friends

Lovely rural setting. Large room with separate TV area. Not luxurious but everything that’s needed including tea/coffee making gear. Clean and reasonable value for money. Breakfast was very good. We also had an outstanding dinner dining experience at the pub next door. A perfect pairing of the two establishments.
