“The property was clean and well manicured. I arrived around sunset so they had the string lights and deck lights on. It was the perfect warm welcome and relaxing ambience I needed after a long day of driving. There's a driveway close by to park your car and I felt safe all night. Everything was well organized, tidy and comfortable. In the morning I made coffee and sat on the deck. Deer were out there eating grass. It was the perfect start to another long day. I will definitely stay again.”

“I had a relaxing retreat from civilization in the Wrangler Outlaw Suite at Cody's Ranch. The suite is beautifully designed, with large sleeping/living space and large bathroom, perfect for 1 or 2 people, or cozier for a couple more on the sleeper sofa. All ADA accessible. The main room has a vaulted wood ceiling, queen bed, and lots of comfy seating. I enjoyed the large bathroom with over-sized jet bathtub and large shower with 4 extra jets. The private deck with rocking chair was my favorite……

“Winding driveway with limited turn around space can be very challenging especially in the dark. Garage entrance and stairs to living quarters are not ideal. It’s not a bad house but probably would not be on my list of places I would go back to rent again. It was pet friendly and that was the primary reason I chose plus proximity to another house we rented for family with no pets. ”

“What an excellent Easter stay for my Siblings and kids. 17 total and plenty of space. Beautifully decorated and lots to do on the property. Gorgeous views (when it wasn't raining), kind of forget you're actually in Illinois. Ranch Joe was wonderful giving us the "lay of the land"!! Outstanding Lodge for a big group of folks. Would definitely stay here again.Owner Mark was a breeze to work with.”
