「Chose this VRBO because it was pet friendly but also in the vicinity of the national park. We decided to elope in the park with our family and then used our Vrbo to have dinner with everyone to celebrate. Very nice property, the fenced in yard was perfect for our pup to be apart of the celebration!」

「Great environment, lots to do within the area. Check in process is very convenient. Every room feels like a new adventure.」

「Nestled in the serene mountains of the Shenandoah Valley, this beautiful cabin provided a peaceful retreat. Within a half-hour’s drive, we were able to explore the northern and central regions of the National Park. The owner was incredibly responsive to our questions and provided quick answers. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this cabin for future stays.」

「We had such a wonderful time at this gorgeous house! It was clean, comfortable, spacious and very relaxing. Our group had kids and adults of all ages and everyone had a fantastic time. The brewery next door is an added bonus, and we didn’t have any issues with noise or crowds. We will definitely stay here again.」

「The house is beautiful and has all the appliances you could ever use. It had coffee and filters stocked in the pantry. Sheets and towels were high quality. There is a 50 charge to use the hot tub which was not stated in the description. The road coming into the property is very steep and luckily my SUV had 4 wheel drive for easy access.」

「Ideal - spectacular were descriptions I received when I asked family what review to give. We recently stayed at Carter House four days mid-September for a family reunion. Eight adults stayed at the house and 10 local family members visited. Large play area in basement was perfect for the children. Plenty of room and comfortable furniture in spacious great room for adults. Decor added to comfortable atmosphere. We had good weather so first floor deck with outdoor couches and table were used...
